Despite their nourishment they make me cry. Their obedience threatens my existence. But I can’t expect too much of them, they’ve spent most of their life in darkness.

True, but I thought the implication to obedience to authorities was clear. Perhaps it wasn’t. And I could also have mentioned that we need more obedience to the authority of our hearts.
