Rules, standards and laws
are not without their flaws.
They can be used to power wars
with flags hiding power’s claws
waving money’s ahhs and awes,
paying pols to act like whores
getting blood to drip from jaws
roaring ours are holier than yours.
System Humanity 
Humanity needs freedom to let people act like humans.
Yes, but freedom is not a gift. It’s a trophy and must be won.
