Dead Center
In the center of the picture (on the right edge of the large drop of water) sits a mosquito. I can’t tell if she’s drinking or laying eggs. She’s a reminder that many small things that we don’t notice will eventually result in our discomfort, sometimes with a lot greater pain than a mosquito stick. And a greater loss of blood.
This is nothing to worry about because much larger things right in front of our noses go unnoticed. They will cause much greater pain. And loss of blood.
You don’t have to worry about these things either. Enjoy the day. It’s a beautiful day. For mosquitoes too. And much larger things.

and to take responsibility for the days to come.”
