Powerful and Deadly Foolishness

Wrong! Deadly wrong. They will do anything, even destroy themselves, rather than give up any of their wealth or power.
They will strike out like crazed beasts because they are diseased, rabid, with greed.
History is littered with the debris of rulers who acted against their own best interests.
The rulers now rule the world.
