Declaration of Moral Bankruptcy

SweetClown5_0792

I’m so fine, so clean, so cute
and so totally decadent.
Not a fiber of morality can be found in my character.
I rape justice with bright-eyed indifference
lie with elegant absurdities
and murder anyone who tries to alter my makeup.
So what?
I’m wealthy and powerful
and can do whatever I want.
Laws don’t apply to me.
I can murder in cold blood,
put a gun in the face of a defenseless man
blow his life away
kill a few others around him
and get on with my life.
No consequences.
I’m wealthy and powerful
and can do whatever I want.
Laws don’t apply to me.
And there’s nothing you can do about it
you insignificant nobody.
Continue to swallow the sweet junk
my scribes feed you
and don’t even think about chewing on tough truth.
This is a money-oriented world
and we, the winners,
the super rich
are not subject to any law.
We can do whatever we want.
We’re too powerful to fail,
too wealthy to jail.
Resisting us is to no avail.
We own the governments,
the institutions, the courts
and the channels of information.
We own the armies and the police.
Laws don’t apply to us.
We are the law.

The ICC (International Criminal Court) recently drop the investigation of the murders on the Mavi Marmara, the lead ship of the Freedom Flotilla heading to Gaza with humanitarian aid. The official ICC statement claimed the crime wasn’t serious enough to maintain an investigation. Nine defenseless aid workers murdered in cold-blood lacks ”sufficient gravity” for the ICC. Are the implications of this travesty of justice sufficiently grave for you?

“Chewing on tough truth
can nourish your backbone.”

At last, the ugly truth in print …in poesy, too; brilliantly expressed! Have been realizing the validity of truth’s tremendous horror more and more so certainly don’t buy into the hypocritical ‘zeitgeist’ portrayed of ‘certain’ treacherous invading forces, far too often, given positive spin in western ‘mainstream media.’ Thank you.

And thank you. A quotation from the book System Humanity pops up with alarming frequency: “Obviously, we can be blind to the obvious.”
