The Ultimate Challenge

I’ve seen them. The strong. The fast. The fearless.
I haven’t seen the strength of their love,
the speed of their tolerance,
or the courage of their humility.
I haven’t seen them in the competition for justice,
The World Games for Peace
or The Humanity Olympics.
I believe I will.
For the moment they are too busy trying to convince themselves
that they need to be stronger, faster and braver to be what they are.
Challenging yourself is never much of a challenge,
you quickly reach a point where you can’t win.
The challenge to build a better world is the ultimate challenge,
you quickly discover that you can’t lose when helping everyone to win.

“The gym of character where we can train
our determination, humility and compassion
is called The Struggle for Justice”

Am amazed daily by your propensity to further truth and justice among the lot of us; especially for “we outside the zeitgeist allowing the presence of towering offensive walls!” Up and at ’em, fearless one. Those massive barriers of injustice need a pertinent shift in “our social consciousness” to give hope toward busting mistrust and tension between opposing sects of humanity and have divisive ill-conceived walls to come tumbling down & relegated to the scrap-heap of history where they belong with disintegrated walls of Jericho …& Berlin.

Thanks, Camelien. At times it feels as though I’m trying to tear down those walls using a rusty nail. The nail feels a lot sharper with comments like yours.
