Where’s the People?

Abraham Lincoln said, ”A government of the people, by the people and for the people shall not perish from the Earth.”

We can assume that to be true. If however there are no people in the government then the government will surely perish. Unfortunately, it might take the people with it.

The US government contains big bankers, big corporate commanders, big military brass and a herd of bribe-saturated millionaires. That’s not what Lincoln meant by people, not real people like truck, bus and taxi drivers, engineers, beauticians, nurses, teachers, bartenders, plumbers, sanitation workers, carpenters, mechanics, welders, shop assistants, factory workers, programers, painters, waiters, crane operators, soldiers, fisherman and hundreds of other PEOPLE.

We are not represented in the government of the USA! We originally rose up against England shouting, ”No taxation without representation.” Doesn’t that apply any more? How can the major fat cats tax us and make laws, rules and regulations without us having a say in the matter, without us being represented?

You might not know what to do about it, but be absolutely certain that as long as you accept it, you acknowledge your status as a semi-slave; a pawn; a subservient subject; an obedient citizen; a political illiterate, and primarily, a commodity of the rulers who own you.

A government of owners, by owners and for owners will treat the citizens, their commodities, like shit as long as they can get away with it.
