Flags – Big, Small and Decorated
Small flags are worn on the lapels
of big-mouthed bribe-drenched millionaires
administrating the workings of government.
Big flags are worn on the coffins
of voiceless citizens
who fought for the freedom
of greed-diseased billionaires
to squeeze profit from war,
blood and flags.

”The flag is a decorated rag
to be saluted by ladies and hags,
common zigs and designer zags,
all clothed in obedient gags.
It makes good cover for swag,
stuffed in off-shore silk-lined bags,
enough for a nation to sag
and soon to be found on the tag
on the toe of an empire that bragged”
