The Angels of Terror

The citizens of humanity
are in a life-or-death struggle
with money’s magnificent greed-diseased worshippers,
who take and take and take,
impoverish, destroy, sicken, kill,
alienate, corrupt, pollute, contaminate
and gnaw at the fibers
holding the community of humanity together.

But the angels of terror,
the citizens own guerrillas,
are taking the initiative.
They have surveillance and communication in their pockets.
They will have drones to carry all manner
of non-lethal payloads.
They have knowledge, skills,
courage, determination and creativity.
They have disguises, support
and love of justice.
The mere thought of what they can accomplish
strikes terror to the hearts
of money’s greed-diseased worshippers.
