Great Horror
The Economic Horror by Vivian Forrester (1925 – 2013) has been added to the Kiss List. First published in 1996 in French, L’horreur économique, it has been translated into many languages. Vivian tells her story with the passion and clarity of light bouncing off the blade of sword aimed at the heart of a dragon guarding today’s mythical view of economy. Her prose borders on the poetical while her message, despite its factual foundation, glows with holy rage at the injustices portrayed.
I don’t know how tall Vivian was in stature, but her intellectual strength towers over most of the pundits of our times. Reading The Economic Horror will strengthen your own intellect and save you lots of time. You will be able to spot different brands of bullshit in a few words. If you haven’t read this book, you are most likely suffering from essential knowledge deficiency.
