Sweden, One of America’s Darlings

We used to be groovy.
Now we are offended.

We used to have issues.
Now we have slogans.

We used to be non-aligned.
Now we have a military presence
in
Afghanistan
Central African Republic
Iraq
Kongo-Kinshasa
Kosovo
Mali
Pakistan
Somalia
South Korea
South Sudan
&
West Sahara
—
under the skirts
of USA.

But we don’t mention this.
Not even during elections.
It’s sort of a secret
that we stuff under our masks of seriousness
when conducting our freedom-like debates.
