Democrazy

Democrazy! Democrazy! 

Shout it from the mobs! Shout it from the slobs!

Shout it from the screens, papers or any means,

the talking heads and media inbeds!

The circus has become a freak show

and everyone knows, 

from the plastic saints to the golden hos,

somethings gotta go.

The representatives of the one percent

seem not to be playing by the rules

alarming heavy pockets

 with the look of desperate fools.

While a tide of angry innocents

begin to question who really rules?

Who are the workers

and who owns the tools?

Beyond the shouts they hear, 

through the smoke they see

democracy doesn’t rhyme with election

but well with majority.

Everything else is democrazy.
