Stepping on and Stepping up

kviphaz_6444

“A color photo in black and white.
A stepped on paper looks like a knight.
Millionaire politicians smile and recite
the gospel of maintaining money’s right
to take from the many for a few parasites.
Bullshit reaches another record height
parallel with increases in poverty and fright.
Calling this democracy is not so bright.
The struggle for survival has surprises in sight.
The stepped on everywhere are stepping up to fight.”

Judging by the media coverage, one would never suspect that the United States is a country where, according to a July 2013 report by the Associated Press, “Four out of five US adults struggle with joblessness, near-poverty or reliance on welfare for at least parts of their lives.”

Richly Agreed

“Red, blue, left and right
play politics, pretend to fight.
Results say they’re all agreed
that making the rich richer
is what we all need.”

The Nice Suiciders Defy Hollywood

Templars3_6447
A pandemic of suicides never before seen in the history of humanity rages silently behind the hysteria of celebrity gossip and other junk news. Less than 1% of 1% of 1% of the suiciders kill other people on their way out. The rest, almost all victims of economic and political terrorism, leap into the darkness of no return alone despite Hollywood’s encouragement,
”Live for nothing or die for something!” (Rambo)

The Difficult Part of Easy

PhoolisNV
It’s easier than you think and much more difficult.
It’s easy (and healthy) to avoid fast food.
The difficult part is getting enough people to do it to bring down the fast food industry.

Bring down the fast food industry! You think that’s nonsense, no, worse, madness, blasphemy.
See, I said it was difficult.
While the CEO of McDonalds, for example, pulls down $14 million/year, the taxpayers must supplement the workers’ below-survival wages with about $1400/year (food stamps, child welfare, housing subsidies, etc) for each employee. In other words, the taxpayers are helping the CEO hold 100s of 1000s of people in semi-slavery, paying them less than they need to get by.
McDonalds is a big but still minor part of the entire fast food industry, which is a minor part of the entire corporate-control prevailing order. The order that generates poverty (and eats away at the environment) so that 1% of the people can accumulate obnoxious luxury.

Go ahead, call me crazy. That’s easy.
The difficult part is…
Oh, why do I bother?

Petacell Monsters

SunLeafNV

We are composed of about 3 720 000 000 000 000 cells.
That’s 3,7 quadrillion or petacells (after mega-, giga- and tera- comes peta).
More doesn’t mean better.
A twig or even a dried leaf contribute energy to the earth.
We seem to be petacell monsters fragmenting and clogging the hard drive of life.
We either clean up our act
or crash.
There’s no backup.

The Last Flame

Flame_0936
We are heading toward extinction at an ever faster pace, killing babies, forests, seas, species, ourselves and each other along the way. Like a dying candle we flame up demanding beauty, entertainment and laughter as we go.

no one saw her.”

Illegal and Criminal Unless…

Shooter_3240
It is illegal to start a war (unless you claim it is for freedom.)
It is illegal to torture (unless you call it enhanced interrogation.)
It is illegal to imprison people without due process (unless you call them enemy combatants.)
It is illegal to invade the privacy of individuals (unless you call it security surveillance.)
It is illegal to drone kill children (unless you call it collateral damage.)
It is illegal to give and take bribes (unless you call it lobbying.)

People who do illegal things are called criminals (unless they are members of the government, executives of major corporations or military leaders.)

None of the ten commandments forbids it.”

Mystery of the Steel Arrow

Domkryka.036

The steel arrow points at truths we don’t want to see.
There are always truths we don’t want to see
and arrows that point stubbornly
in the same direction
in a changing world.

(For those of you who want to know the mystery of this steel arrow, you will have to write to me directly. Click on the picture of Fantelius at the upper right to access my @ress.)

Dead Foot, Flower & People

ToeBlossom7_6427

“War is hell and more
rumors and lies galore
angry steel and the fire’s roar
homes in rubble, blood on the floor,
pain, sorrow, death and a soul-deep sore.
There’s nothing as hellish as war.
Who are they who open its door?
We know who they’re working for
these devil’s ambassadors
–also known as money’s whores–
claiming ours are holier than yours.”
