God’s Warning to The Smart Ones

They call themselves the smart ones.
The smart ones!
Can you believe it?
Their prayers increase and climb on the waves
of global warming.
Even now when the heat has already been turned on
they laugh and pout, twist and shout
and haven’t a clue what it’s all about.
What did they expect, a big match?
Did they expect me to breath fire?
The smart ones!
They’ve got as much sense as boiling frogs
and know nothing about me.
I never had any intention of destroying them with fire.
They are going to destroy themselves with fire.
The smart ones!
Continued warming eventually bursts into flames.
Even human-like apes knew that a couple of million years ago.
Me? I’m just following their dictates.
I’m within them all,
the living heart of the soul in the body of humanity.
As long as they fight among themselves
and embrace their differences
I’m powerless.
Should they unite
and concentrate my strength,
they would witness the miracle
of holy power
strong enough
to tame the sun.
Unfortunately,
that day may never come.
