The Why of the Coming War
The previous post about the signs of the approaching war mentioned nothing about why. Oil? That’s the reason the entire Middle East is already ablaze, but the inevitable big one, WW3, stems from a more basic cause. Money.
The USA is broke. Technically. Its debt now exceeds its GDP, Gross Domestic Product. It owes more than it earns. It owes about $19 000 000 000 000, a ratio of 102% to the GDP. Such figures are always approximations, but even if a few $100 million are cut or added the picture doesn’t vary. The USA is broke. Compare the 102% to China’s less than 5% and Russia under 19%.
The US gets away with this by printing money AND forcing the world to buy and trade energy resources (mostly oil) in dollars, and dollars only. As long as dollars dominate the global market, USA can dominate the world. A few countries such as Saddam’s Iraq and Gaddafi’s Libya tried to abandon the $-basis for dealing in oil. Boom! That cannot be tolerated by the American rulers. Boom, boom! Abandoning the dollar destroys the foundation upon which they operate and dominate in spite of enormous debt in worthless paper money.
China and Russia have well advanced plans to abandon the dollar-basis of trade. This cannot be tolerated by the American rulers. They regard abandoning the dollar as a declaration of war. If allowed, the dollar deflates as does their strength and domination. They have no choice but to go to war. It’s not going to solve their problems, but they have to try. Humanity? They haven’t considered the needs of humanity in the past, why would they start considering them now when their own existence is at stake?
Boom, boom and (likely) nuclear BOOM!
Can this coming war be avoided? Probably not, but I’ll deal with the possibilities, despite their unlikeliness, in the next post — if I get enough comments to this one.

“Should, Would and Could
seldom get what they should,
but wonder what would
happen if they could.
So we sing their song
when the results come in wrong
and the hopeful sky turns grey.
Would’a, should’a, could’a
done it another way.”

The West Bank is now the Judea-Samaria area.
No end to human folly. Of course we all pine for information on what an escape from WW3 could hinge on.

All of what this post touches on has been clear for years.
I very much doubt that war can be avoided, because, to the drovers’ delight, apathetic ignorance rules the herd.
Yep. And where is that 6.5 trillion dollars and that 2.3 trillion dollars. Stolen for their rainy day.
