Entertaining the Suckers

The plutocrat gang running the empire just robbed millions of poor, weak and desperate citizens. All will suffer and many die so that the richest of the richest could get richer. The heist was worth $billions. This rabid greed and psychopathic indifference for the victims caused the devil to blush, but he couldn’t hide his smile at how easily it was done. The thieves had their administrators, posing as a government, call the theft a tax reform and abracadabra… the great crime was rubber-stamped legal.

What does the unintelligentsia and the impotent progressives have to say about this? Basically, besides mentioning it briefly as something not good, nothing. They are having too much fun competing with each other to sling elegant verbal mud at the chief court jester.
