global warming as the euphemism of choice.
It’s fever, Dorothy,
environmental fever
indicating a life threatening sickness.
When the fever reaches a certain level
most species die,
snakes, rats, weasels
and anything larger
regardless of their strength
stupidity
or arrogance.
