A cactus brain
in a cracked head
blind eyes, long nose
what more can be said?

It’s the media man
together with a wife
parked high on a shelf
in an obedient life.

Official lies
get through the spines
stopping reason and action
in plenty of time.

Prime time screen-news alarmed the citizens yesterday reporting that 24 pupils were declared covid-positive in Somewherestan. The age of the pupils or the size of the school was not mentioned. Not a single cactus brain asked, So what?
Their fear spines grew an additional micrometer as did their obedient roots. The crack along their heads expanded along the side of their faces down to their mouths. Continued growth will undoubtedly cause their faces to fall off and obedience to spill out. Too late.
