Part 4 – The Progress of Ignorance

In Part 2 I promised to deal with why biological energy isn’t listed among types of energy.

Let’s start with Buddha, who, upon awakening from a long and deep meditation,”hesitated on whether or not he should teach the Dharma to others. He was concerned that humans were so overpowered by ignorance, greed, and hatred that it would be difficult for them to recognize the path, which is subtle, deep and hard to grasp”. (MN 26)

That was some 2.600 years ago. Would Buddha be concerned about the ignorance of today’s human examples of biological energy who …
1. are unaware that they are biological energy.
2. believe that photon particles have no mass.
3. claim that objects can weigh more than the element of which that are a part. (1)
4. theorise that invisible wiggly strings are the basis of all existence.
5. attempt to extract energy by cold fusion.
6. considered it dogma that the universe and everything in it, including martini olives, began from an “infinitely” small (2) something, somewhere.
7. attribute a consciousness to the universe. (But don’t know what consciousness is.)
etc.

These examples of ignorance have been voiced by prestigious scientists, the perceived upper strata of an intelligence hierarchy. If this is the shabby thinking among the intellectual chic, people in general must be lost in dark times, which invariably include heights of greed and depths of hatred; times where love is abused by a decadent culture; truth is hounded as a threat to security; individualism is equated with strength; money is a synonym for happiness; and the rule of a few billionaires is praised as democracy.

Formerly, people who had nothing were promised internal life if they believe in God. Today people are promised happiness if they trust ungodly rulers to lead them where they will have nothing. How have magnificent forms of intelligent living energy progressed 1000s of years to become an endangered species wandering in darkness, clothed in greed, and drooling hatred?

How have Homo sapiens lost contact with the holy force of life within them? Why have they neglected Love and Truth for glittery promises radiating from a tiny elite who claim to own the resources of the earth? Why do they quiver in fear and whine in obedience to the dictates of the lowest examples of their species, the violent conquerers of possessions and people?

A curious claim

The de facto rulers of the world claim that there are too many people in the world, and a crisis of energy. They aim to eliminate the lack of energy by eliminating intelligent forms of living energy, who, in the infinite wisdom of these rulers, are viewed as useless eaters.
Curious ain’t it?
