Today is the 65th anniversary of The United Nations Declaration of Universal Human Rights. Just as the polished marble slate in the picture above summarizes the geological history of the earth, the Declaration of Universal Human Rights summarizes the human struggle for justice throughout the ages.
“The inherent dignity and the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world … A world in which human beings shall enjoy freedom of speech and belief and freedom from fear and want has been proclaimed as the highest aspiration of the common people.”
This should be the holiest script in the world, but enjoys as much respect today as toilet paper. It has been discovered that the common people are not always profitable. Therefore, certain changes have been made to the original declaration. The changes are denoted with an asterisk (*).
Article 1: All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.
* Except the super rich who are freer and more dignified than common members of the human family. These people, The 1%, are above the law. They need employ neither reason nor conscience because greed has replaced any compassionate endowments with which they were born.
Article 2: Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind
* except where these rights and freedoms stand in the way of corporate profits.
Article 3: Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person
* as long as they do not threaten the prevailing order of money’s rule.
And so on…

According to Dr. Barbra Reed in the Journal of Cognition Research (JCR, #11/2013) sexual frustration limits the strength of imagaination.
”This,” says Reed, ”may explain part of the popularity of pornography, which could function as viagra for a dysfunctional imagination.”
