Low Tide

SandCastles_5785 The water was low in the lake toward the end of the long dry summer. This created ideal conditions for someone with spacial fantasy.

The low water also revealed several oil spills.
OilMonster_5786 How does that saying go, Those who build castles in the sand… ?
And how about those who lay oil spills on the water?

Well-shaped Woman Wants You to Check Out Her ….

KollaInMina_1629
This young woman is on the main transit floor of Stockholm’s Central Train Station. She’s handing out fliers.
We see three of the four words on her T-shirt. They say, “Check out my …” (Kolla in mina).
The fourth word, hidden at this angle, right below the ”mina”, is ”specs”, which can stand for specifications or eye-glasses (specs is short for spectacles).
The woman is passing out ads for eyeglasses, specs,

The men walking by are obedient. They check out her specs.

The Soil on the Earth

BlackholedLeaf9_6386
In the picture we see (the results of) microorganisms munching away at a leaf. They are transforming the leaf and themselves into soil. Their ancestors were doing this at the very beginning of life some 800 million years ago when the first cell evolved to maturity. At that time there was nothing upon the face of our planet but water, ice, rock and sand. There was no soil and consequently no plants or animals either. But there were microorganisms that could break down any vegetive life that happened to wash ashore. These microorganisms at our feet have been at work for nearly 800 million years to produce all the soil that exists on the earth today. They, if anyone, could wear the title Earthlings. You don’t have to thank them. They’re having the time of their life. No one is preventing you from feeling gratitude.

and a human destroys the conditions of life,
who should life serve and who should she destroy?”

Sorry, Jimi Hendrix

RedBricksUnder3_6360
When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace.” – Jimi Hendrix

Sorry Jimi, that’s beautiful but wrong. It is not the love of power that needs to be overcome. On the contrary, the power of love can strengthen the love of power and the love of power can strengthen the power of love. Love loves the power to strengthen love. If the love of power to strengthen love ruled the world, no one would know need or war.
Had Jimi said, “When the power of love overcomes the love of money the world will know peace.” he would have been on the right track. Money and power are not the same thing. Money is basically things, whereas power is basically energy, in this case, biological energy, living energy, thinking energy. People.
When people unite their energy in a common cause, their united power will permit them to enforce their will. And what, if not the will of the majority, shall decide the direction of society and the means to get there. With the power of love and the love of power the people can transform the earth into a garden of peace and prosperity, a place where Jimi Hendrix music can be heard.

A Gift to Psychiatry

Radjic_5544
I heard so many interpretations of the bark figure in the picture, I came to realize that it must be a dream (!) for a psychoanalyst.
I hope I’m not being disrespectful toward inkblots.

Chaos Theory in Slow Motion

RiverEye4_5203
Chaos theory deals with calculating what can’t be calculated because too many factors influence developments. Weather, for example, is a chaotic system. Because of the sun, clouds, temperatures, winds, ocean streams, surroundings and much more it is impossible to predict the weather six days in advance.
The ocean is a chaotic system. Throw a bunch of basketballs in the middle of the ocean and they will wind up in completely different areas. It’s impossible to calculate where any one ball will go.
The society of people is a chaotic system changing all the time: new tasks, now places, new jobs, new studies, new relationships, new rules, new conditions.
It’s impossible to predict where or when the next human storm will break out. We only know that it will come.
The next human tsunami?
It will happen.
