Language is generated by thought.
Linguists call the process that transforms thoughts into verbal expression generative or transformational grammar. It differs considerably from written grammar.
Animals think. Thinking is a function of mobility. No species survives moving at random. As the choices of reacting to circumstance increase, so does the faculty of thinking.
Animals can communicate with a signal system, but even the most extensive of these come nowhere near the power of language. Animals have no language and are therefore not aware of their thoughts. Language allows us to access our thoughts. No language, no CONSCIOUS thought, that is to say, no language thinking.
The process of generating verbal expression follows a biological grammar hard-wired into our neural construction. These biological rules apply to all human languages, but the sounds can vary as well as alternative methods of applying the basic rules. This results in different languages.
Regardless of the language, they all say something (a verb phrase) about something (a noun phrase). Different languages employ different methods for packaging the phrases, connecting them and placing them in relation to one another.
Language capability is a Homo sapiens attribute. Any human language can express any thought. There is no such thing as a primitive or advanced language, no more than there is a primitive or advanced method of walking.

They were so tall, so arrogant.
They looked down on the weeds on land,
ridiculed the lilies who clung to the surface.
One night the wind followed the frost,
broke them down
and forced them to point in the direction it had gone.
Now they pride themselves on their symmetry and simplicity.
“Poison mushrooms pride themselves on looking innocent and charming.”

Many jewels of truth decorate our souls: pearls, rubies, emeralds, sapphires, diamonds …
Some are these jewels have been set so artfully, they attract devotees who burn with enthusiasm to worship their beauty.
The worshippers seem to forget that the jewels symbolize the truth. They are not the truth themselves.
Truth is a living thing. It changes and adapts to maintain its essence. Truth must be applied to different conditions, times and people. It varies its costume of words to get by guarded traditions and pass through barriers of culture. Truth is forever on a mission to liberate the victims of lies.
Some people become jewels of truth. They learn to live their truth rather than decorate themselves with it. They embrace kindness, respect, compassion and love with sparkling determination.
Not all of us can be diamonds of truth, but we can try to be as beautiful a jewel as we can.
“Rough diamonds wrapped in an old newspaper
are preferred to plastic pearls
packaged in an official fancy box.”

War has always been and will always be started* as an enterprise of conquest. No exceptions.
To start* of a war has always been and will always be the greatest of all crimes. No exceptions.
The forces that start a war always have and always will claim they are doing it for noble reasons or of necessity. No exceptions.
The future belongs to those who conduct a war without weapons to create a world without war.
“Wars start with words and continue with people. The words survive.” Dartwill Aquila

Sick, Baby (by Dartwill Aquila)
Sick of flying with a broken wing.
Sick of listening to snakes that sing.
Sick of waiting for a number to ring.
Sick of hearing dongs that don’t ding.
Sick, baby, sick. That’s my thing.

Two facts about humanity.
1. Humanity is one body. Our clothes, our food, our tools and practically everything produced by humans involves the coordinated efforts of 10s of 1000s of people. Whether a cup of coffee or a computer, the resources come from all over the world and are gathered, refined, manufactured, packaged, transported, distributed and sold by people who are supported by other people in order to eat, cloth themselves, travel, etc. We all do an individual task in a global machinery. Humanity is one.
(See the Orange Man on the top menu.)
2. Humanity is everywhere. The entire earth is humanity’s habitat. Unlike other society building creatures we cannot move on when we’ve grown too large or have used up the available resources. There’s no where to go.
Consider nature’s deal based on these two facts. It’s a deal that we can’t refuse.
Break away from the prevailing order and create a sustainable one
or perish.
That’s the deal. It’s not negotiable.

CAMO stands for the Corporate And Military Oligarchy
(What used to be the Military Industrial Complex, aka the 1%).
Voting denies that CAMO runs the country.
Voting promotes the childish belief that one of the two groups competing to be the main servants of CAMO can influence their masters.
Voting says it’s alright to bail-out banksters and throw out homeowners.
Voting pretends that a tiny giga-rich minority isn’t growing ever richer while the overwhelming majority grows poorer and poorer.
Voting equates pulling a lever once every four years with the will of the people.
Voting divides the people and allows CAMO to maintain its rule.
Voting excuses the rape of the constitution, accepts shattering international law and forgives the mutilation of the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Voting approves the continuation of drone-murdering mothers and children.
Voting ….
Ohh, go ahead and vote. Maybe CAMO will give you a bone. But don’t count on it. CAMO takes, it doesn’t give. More than likely they’ll try take the last bone you have.

The blossoms make a heroic effort to distract from the decay behind them.
Or are they trying to comfort the fence at the end of its days?
Perhaps they are testifying to the power of life and the inevitable destiny of human constructions.
Most likely they are simply adding a spot of beauty to the world as is their destiny.

The candle says not a word about the vulgarity of the circus in the distance,
not a murmur of the obesity of the extravagance,
the plastic promises or the neon smiles.
It gives its light in silence
aware that even the flames of decadence cast light.
It creates its art
trying to distract from its tear
running down into the shadows.
