Dartwill Aquila Week – Day 5

Headache-1050379

Dartwill Aquila Week, 7 quotes a day for 7 days
Day 5 – Dedicated to Rivera Sun (1985 – ) whose books about the Dandelion Insurrection are current political fiction with nourishing realities deliciously told. Chapter four of the second book (The Roots of Resistance) tells more about today’s politicians than tons of official and ”progressive” commentary.

*
Fiction is a lie in the service of truth.

*

We’re a river of blood beyond
debating what’s right or wrong.
If we’re not debating how to stop the wrong,
we’re singing out of tune to the wrong song.

*

The difference between the emperor’s new clothes
and the president’s
is not fashion,
but the difficulty in getting a child’s opinion.

*

All the lonely people live in the same place,
but it’s not crowded because nobody is there.

*

Goliath considers anyone in possession of a small stone
or planning to pick up a stone
or showing an interest in stones
or knowing anyone who talks about stones
to be a terrorist.

*

It’s impossible to follow the golden rule
while dancing round the golden calf.

*

The human brains weighs about 1400 grams
but can hold tons of confusion.

Dartwill Aquila Week, 7 quotes a day for 7 days
Picture is of a sculpture by Beth Laurin
Day 4 – Dedicated to Michael Parenti (1933 – ), If you are interested in history, the media, intellectuals or truth, Michael is your go-to guy.

They were addicted to having fun
to dull their lack of happiness.

It can be proven mathematically, biologically, religiously and historically
that we all belong to the same family.
But until it is felt, nothing is proven.

*

I’m gonna curl my feathers and paint the tips of my wings.
I’m gonna pierce my beak and wear gold identity rings.
On my breast I’ll get a tattoo, “Cats just ain’t my thing.”
and do my tail in the style called Party Flyers’ Fling.
I won’t be able to fly and I won’t be able to sing
but everyone will see that nobody pulls my strings.
Pling!

*

We’ve all got a ticket to the future,
but the seats aren’t numbered
and they keep moving the stage.

*

Pebbles, dust and sand,
the remains of greatness in history’s hand.

and viewers as “eyeballs”,
what are they going to call lovers?

Day 3 – Dedicated to Arundhati Roy (1961 – ), winner of the Dartwill Aquila Favorite Writer Dinner.

The truth isn’t always beautiful
and beauty isn’t always truthful
but the beautiful truth
is truly beautiful.

Dartwill Aquila Week – Day 2

HorseRiderStatue-1050370

Dartwill Aquila Week, 7 quotes a day for 7 days
Day 2 – Dedicated to Thomas Sankarea (1949 – 1987), President of Burkina Faso who was murdered because he had the audacity to radically improve the lives of his people.

The list of people who were murdered
for improving the lives of people
is quite long.
The list of people who were killed
for destroying the lives of people
is considerably shorter.

Trust in authority can damage your species.

*

If we don’t pull the people below us up to our level,
they will drag us down to theirs.

*

They’re willing to crash and trash humanity
to stash more cash in their pockets of plenty.

*

Giving someone what they deserve is often revenge.
Giving them what they need is mercy.

*

They steal from the poor in the name of economy,
rape justice in the name of necessity,
imprison freedom in the name of security,
and demand approval in the name of democracy.

Dartwill Aquila Week – Day 1

StainedGlassSaints-1010398

Dartwill Aquila Week, 7 quotes a day for 7 days
Day 1 – Dedicated to Elisabeth Strömberg (1948 – 2016), an unrecognized saint who walked among us.

Most saints are unknown,
those of the past
as well as those among us today.
We do however know many celebrities,
who aren’t particularly saintly.

*

The snake got them to taste the fruit of knowledge.
Now she must intoxicate them
with a love of nature.

*

Live not too fast, question what you know.
Don’t run from the times, don’t follow the flow.
Truth hides in shadows, beauty may not glow.
Struggle for justice and help love to grow.

*

One doesn’t need to know much to know more than a know-it-all.

*

Try to be different like everyone else
or try to be like everyone else a little differently.
Or don’t try at all and just be yourself.

*

He dreamed of becoming famous for his humility.

*

Life doesn’t come with a promise to be good
or a threat to be bad.
It comes with light, beauty, possibilities
and the holy power to join us together
in the struggle for love’s victory.

Laughing at Democracy

Kiwook_2577

I can’t stop laughing when I hear someone talking about democracy, which, in case you don’t know, means the will or the rule of the majority. It seems that the majority (90%-95%) wants to get poorer and have fewer social services so that the minority can get richer. Hahahaa! Hilarious.

The government is composed of rich, very rich and extremely rich people and their decisions take from the majority and give to the rich minority who get richer and richer. They do this as the officials of democracy.
Haa haha hoohaa ho… stop! Stop, please. I’m going to split my sides laughing.

Holy Beauty

OrangeTulip-1050357

A drop of promise
bigger than hope
dangled on the tip of a leaf,
ignored conventional priorities,
and chuckled with the wind
like a brazen waitress
pouring coffee and sweet-hot words
to a booth of truckers.
The promise
walked through my veins
as though it owned my blood,
throwing sparks of light at any shadow
that dared come in the way
of the force of life
as it articulated obscenities
at dried up traditions
questioning
the holiness of beauty.

This poem is in preparation for the upcoming International Dartwill Aquila week (IDAW).

Shit-Eating Experts

Brochee1030563

Part 1 – Genius in the Hood
You could not spend time around young boys in the Bronx in the 1950s without hearing, ”Eat shit!” This vulgar invective expressed disapproval but could even stand for disagreement among friends.
”The new Chevy is the best car.”
”Eat shit! The Ford creams it.”

When the expression was becoming tired from frequent usage someone invented a response. ”Eat shit!” would encounter the question, ”And what should I do with your bones?”
This spread like wild fire and threatened to burn away ”Eat shit!” forever until a comeback to the question revitalized it.

”And what should I do with your bones?”
”Build a cage around your mother.”

This might have been the origin of the ”Your mother…” line of humor. In any case it demonstrates the creativity among the city ”deplorables” trudging though the concrete jungles of the time.

Part 2 – Knowledge and Intelligence
The creativity (intelligence) of people on all social levels, in all occupations and in all societies bubbles forth constantly. We’ve all seen, and been part of, a group of workers burst into laughter fused by creative expression. We’ve also experienced highly educated people who can’t seem to find their nose without a map and whose sense of humor matches that of a wash cloth.

Knowledge is a collection of facts, a storehouse of knowing. A doctor’s knowledge of anatomy terms and the workings of the body provides no more creativity or intelligence than a mechanic’s knowledge of vehicle terms and the workings of a car. The educated people propagate the official myth that education, the collection of (academic) knowledge, builds intelligence. Those who don’t have an official education find few channels to oppose the official myth. Exceptionally, a highly educated person such as Ph.D Leo Buscaglia steps forward and says, ”Some of the stupidest people I know have PhDs.”

Part 3 – Cosmic Stupidity Among Scientists
The academic community has demonstrated lack of intelligence on many occasions. The ridiculous cold fusion theory as well as the string theory found many adherents among ”rocket scientists”, not to mention the Big Bang nonsense claiming that an infinitely small something from somewhere started everything. I know what a kid from the Bronx would say to that.

The field of literature has no lack of stupid experts. Many giants of knowledge volunteered as cheer leaders for Hitler for example. How smart was that? A glorious experiment but a literary failure such as James Joyce’s Ulysses still enjoys super book status among literati despite its unreadability, a ”great” book that nobody can read.

When we enter the territory of political ”science” and economics the beasts of stupidity can be found at the top of the pecking order.

Part Conclusion – The Treasure of Intelligence
Unfortunately, all too many people depend on academic experts and official authorities for explanations and solutions to the problems and ills of our times. Dear citizens, the problems of our times are the results of the experts and authorities. You possess a treasure of intelligence within you. Open the chest! Trust yourself and those around you! One thing is certain, no one is going to solve your problems. You, together with your equals, will have to do it or it won’t get done. Surely you are smart enough to realize that.

You appear to be a coprophagic sphincter ani externus

Holocaust, Black Lives, Trump

ChurchFace9327

What does the Holocaust Industry, Black Lives Matter and Donald Trump have in common?
They are all bullshit issues harvesting support in the me-me-me culture of narcissism, and diverting energy from vital issues.

The Holocaust Industry capitalizes on the ethnic cleansing of European Jews during the Nazi regime from 1935 to 1945. The battle cry ”Remember Our Suffering!” frames its struggle against anti-Semitism. The chosen people perform the chosen victim farce with the me-me-me chorus singing about our-our-our suffering. Other people’s victimization and sufferings do not interest them. They don’t struggle for tolerance and justice in general, but for the exclusive intolerance and injustice of anti-Semitism. To witness the hypocrisy of these chosen sufferers we need merely mention the Palestinians and listen to the Nazi-grade prejudice (or criminal ignorance) denying, condoning or covering up the ongoing atrocities and slow motion holocaust against the victims of Zionist Israeli aggression, occupation and suppression.

The ignorant and stupid holocausters nag and scream about anti-Semitism without ever reflecting on or acknowledging Israeli politics as the single most powerful generator of anti-Semitism in the world. These political morons want us to remember their suffering, forget everyone else’s and blind ourselves to the anti-Semitic generator marked with a blue and white six-pointed star logo. We should in one sense remember the Holocaust to become aware that, like the abused child who becomes an abuser, the survivors of deadly prejudice can become as prejudice and murderous as the monsters they condemn.

The racist parole Black Lives Matter belongs in the same chosen-victim category as the remember our-our-our suffering group. Pray tell Black-lives-matterers, whose lives don’t matter. EVEN Black lives matter or ALSO Black lives matter would have diluted the racism somewhat, but it wouldn’t matter much.

The suffering of the Blacks can hardly be imagined regardless of the quality of empathy. For 100s of years they have been at the receiving end of every evil imaginable: subjugation, suppression, humiliation, torture, enslavement, imprisonment, mutilation, degradation, rape, murder, … every evil imaginable for 100s of years costing 10s of millions of lives. And it’s still going on, including pure bondage slavery in the guise of imprisonment. The blood of saints boil with rage at the extent of the injustice and suffering inflicted on dark-skinned people. Black-lives-matter does nothing to remedy this disgrace.

Our consciousness should be branded with two reminders about this situation.
1. Many of the perpetrators against the blacks have been blacks and, eyeing Africa today, many still are. Generations of Africans hunted, killed, chained and caged Africans and sold them to European slave traders. Africa has been and remains infested with corrupt and degenerate Black rulers whose cruelty and exploitation of Africans can well match anything Whites have been and are capable of.
2. No race, people, nation or ethnic group will ever achieve liberation, justice or security without the support and solidarity of all races, peoples, nations and other ethnic groups. All or none! No other choice is available. We either identify and unite as humans for survival or perish together fighting each other over superficial differences along the way. Get together as humans or get out of life! In other words, love or die. That is not a threat, but a description of the conditions of life on earth.

Donald Trump, a super-narcissist, may be discarded or may become a dictator. It (he) doesn’t matter. He represents the American empire that breeds conflicts, hostilities and divisions in a hotbed of inequality heavily spiced with greed and me-me-me-ism. The empire does this as a means of survival. A united people would not tolerate a micro-tiny group of people owning the resources of the earth at the expense of billions of others. The American people are therefore subjected to the same warped me-centered perspective as all other groups struggling for their own individual liberation. Even the best of the progressives and resisters fall victim to this narrow excluding exceptionalism as demonstrated by their constant references to American values and the American constitution. It would appear that they’ve never heard of or no nothing about of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which is a much more recent, much better and inclusive document than the American Constitution or Bill of Rights and is explicitly ”a common standard of achievement for all peoples and all nations.”

This December will mark the 70th anniversary of the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This document represents the ultimate achievement of 1000s of years human struggle for peace, justice and equality. Read it, and judge our rulers (and progressives) in the light of its proclamations.
”All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. /// Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status.”

Love or die, people, love or die!

It’s OK to Kill

DevilRust-9939

It’s OK to kill! This is the message they whisper, shout, sing and snore constantly.
It’s OK to kill! It’s OK to kill 3 million Vietnamese to save them.
It’s OK to kill 500 000 children, says the ambassador to the UN.
It’s OK to kill 100s of 1000s of Iraqis. Invade them! Shock and awe them with spectacular violence and continue picking them off year after year.
It’s OK to kill Afghanis, year after year. It’s OK to kill Palestinians, decade after decade. It’s OK to kill Libyans. It’s OK to kill Syrians. It’s OK to kill Yemenis.
It’s OK to kill suspects with hellfire missiles and anyone else near by.
It’s OK to kill in movies, on TV and while playing games.
It’s OK to kill unarmed kids.
It’s OK to spend $trillions on killing machines while people starve, sleep on sidewalks and suffer unattended medical needs.
Unless deaf or dead you can’t fail to hear the message,
It’s OK to kill!

That’s their message. What’s yours?
