we produce a meal
that can nourish the truth of our times.

I’m used to a TV-documentary about the Holocaust popping up every time Israel starts bombing the Palestinians. It happens all over Europe. When will we see a documentary about the 3 million Vietnamese killed by Israel’s backers? Or one about the 1 million Iraqis killed and the near total destruction of their country by the same backers? That’s not going to happen, is it.
What about our children? Are they ever going to be included in the events of our times? How many school classes dealt with the latest ”conflict” between Israel and Gaza? Really studied it. Themselves. I have no idea, but I’m rather certain that there weren’t many. If any. The educational system deals with abstractions or the past. The present seems off limits. Trust what the authorities tell us through the media. Don’t get involved. Don’t think you’re capable of real analysis and real responsibility. Leave the events of our times to the people in charge.
By locking the youth out of participation in the major of events in the world, they are denied the heritage of their genes. And pay the consequences.
Homo sapiens have a unique social brain. An ape, for example, cannot follow the rules of the simplest game. They don’t have the social brain to do so. This social mind we possess evolved during a couple of million years and was consolidated during a couple of hundred thousand years of hunter-gatherer society. We judge our value as an individual by how we participate in the workings of our collective. This is how we determine our worth to our contemporaries and to ourselves. When we cannot participate in the management of our tribe, our community or our society, we become alienated and often break down. Many of those who become the victims of drug abuse are those who would have been the pillars and heroes of society. If they had had the chance.

Different colors. Different shades. Different patterns.
Two different shapes
Together. As one.
A foundation. A wall.
Protection. Security.
Without the organization it’s nothing.
Without the holding force it’s nothing
The holding force. The uniting force.
Call it mortar. Call it God. Call it life. Call it love.
Call it the common soul of humanity.
Call it what you will.
Without the uniting force it’s nothing.
No foundation. No protection. No Security.
We have the uniting force.
We have the law.
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The law of human experience.
That’s all we need.
Almost
Like the salt of the ocean, the carbon in steel,
we need a drop of mercy.
Mercy.
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights
is the political bible
of the common people of the world.
It is our most holy document.
Our foundation. Our Unity. Our protection. Our Security.
It is the law!
Those who break the law are criminals.
We don’t demonstrate for criminals.
We don’t vote for criminals.
We don’t negotiate with criminals.
We avoid them
until
we can bring them to justice.
Mercy.

and freedom from fear and want

Two facts about humanity.
1. Humanity is one body. Our clothes, our food, our tools and practically everything produced by humans involves the coordinated efforts of 10s of 1000s of people. Whether a cup of coffee or a computer, the resources come from all over the world and are gathered, refined, manufactured, packaged, transported, distributed and sold by people who are supported by other people in order to eat, cloth themselves, travel, etc. We all do an individual task in a global machinery. Humanity is one.
(See the Orange Man on the top menu.)
2. Humanity is everywhere. The entire earth is humanity’s habitat. Unlike other society building creatures we cannot move on when we’ve grown too large or have used up the available resources. There’s no where to go.
Consider nature’s deal based on these two facts. It’s a deal that we can’t refuse.
Break away from the prevailing order and create a sustainable one
or perish.
That’s the deal. It’s not negotiable.

If the first Christians hadn’t turned their backs on the emperor and the Roman senate and gone directly to the people with the truth of our equality and determination to help one another, we might all be speaking Latin today.
The first Christians were the terrorists of their day. They struck terror into the hearts of the rulers by refusing to acknowledge the authority of Rome. How could the rulers rule without the obedience of their subjects? So the Christians were suppressed, persecuted, imprisoned, tortured and put to death, often as entertainment at ”the circus.” The Christians prevailed and grew in strength and numbers. During the last and most severe persecution between 303 and 324, the support for the Christians was so extensive that the empire ceased to function and had to admit defeat. To save face, they called it the Edit of Tolerance.
Hmmmp! Could people turn their backs on the rulers of today? Could they commit themselves to the holy force of life and respect for people instead of acknowledging the rule of money and force? What a quaint idea! It probably wouldn’t work. Or….
“If we listen to our hearts
we can hear the voice of life
reminding us of our greatness
and encouraging us to join
with the family of humanity
in transforming the earth
into a garden of beauty and love.”

This propaganda cartoon would be funny if it wasn’t so ridiculous, absurd, preposterous, idiotic, harebrained, cockamamie, daft, ludicrous, farcical, bonkers, batty, crackers, dumb-ass… and more nonsensicaliites.
It is the equivalent of saying that a dialysis patient in a cave in Afghanistan arranged the hijacking of four passenger planes under the noses of the most extensive security organization in existence, and that the hijackers got on the planes without getting on the passenger lists and then got through the locked cockpit doors using knives without any alarm being sounded by the flight crew, and that two of the planes flew into skyscrapers and one flew 35 minutes unchallenged into the heart of the strongest military power in the world, and that the government decided not to investigate the crime but to invade the country where the dialysis patient was hiding.
If you believe that send me a fist-full of money and I’ll tell you how to become rich quick.

The opening statement on the Firefighters for 9/11 Truth site:
An Appeal to Firefighters, Present and Past from a retired FDNY Lieutenant
Fellow Firefighters, A great tragedy befell our community on September 11, 2001, an unprecedented 343 deaths in the line of duty. As horrible as that toll is, if there were a rational explanation for it, we could accept it and mourn. We all understood the risk we accepted when we took the oath of office, that chance might cut short our lives when we placed ourselves in harm’s way in the public’s service. This is what we are paid for and it is our honor. However, in short, the official explanation of the events of that day are not only insufficient, they are fantastic and cannot bear rational examination. We are asked to believe that on that day three structural steel buildings, which have never before in history collapsed because of fire, fell neatly into their basements at the speed of gravity, their concrete reduced to dust. We are asked to believe that jet fuel (kerosene) can melt steel. We are asked to believe that the most sophisticated air defense system in the world, that responded to sixty-eight emergencies in the year prior to 9-11 in less than twenty minutes allowed aircraft to wander about for up to an hour and a half. We are asked to believe that the steel and titanium components of an aircraft that supposedly hit the Pentagon “evaporated”. There is much, much more if anyone cares to look into it. Trade Tower #7 by itself is the “smoking gun”. Not hit by an aircraft, with only a few relatively small fires, it came down in a classic crimp and implosion, going straight into its basement, something only very precise demolition can accomplish, which takes days if not weeks to prepare. The 9-11 Commission didn’t even mention it, and F.E.M.A. actually stated they DIDN’T KNOW WHY IT COLLAPSED AND LEFT IT AT THAT. Brothers, I know that the implications of the above are hard, almost unthinkable, but the official explanation is utter nonsense, and three hundred and forty three murdered brothers are crying out for justice. Demand a genuine investigation into the events of September 11!

“Truth gives itself willing unless you are faithful to a lie.
If truth must force itself upon you,
you’ll be forced to lie about your faith.”

The latest attack on Gaza wiped out over 10 000 homes and damaged many others. Over 150 factories were transformed into ruins including the lone power plant. Thousands of people were murdered and many more were injured, many of which lost body parts. Nearly the entire population (1.8 million) lost their minds. At least it seems that way to me because this enormous spectacle of death and destruction is called a victory by the victims. A victory! A few more victories like this and nobody will be left to celebrate.
Perhaps it’s just the opposite. Calling this a victory is the only way to keep from losing their minds. What else are the people to say? Trapped in the concentration camp and battered again for the umpteenth time with little prospect of escape and realistic prospects of a new attack in the near future, what are they to say? And who are they to say it to? The rulers of the world can barely utter a ”Whoops.” Before the smoke and dust have settled the murderers steal another large chuck of land, for the umpteenth time, while the rulers of the world, for the umpteenth time, say, ”Naughty, naughty!” and slap the thieves on the hand.
I certainly don’t know what to say, but at least I know not to trust anything the rulers of the world have to say. Perhaps the Palestinians mean that the obvious barbarity of the thieving murderers together with to the obvious indirect support of the rulers can be regarded as a victory for truth. This truth comes with a bloody price. You get what you pay for.

no need to question why,

The Gaza prison has Israeli walls on three sides
an Egptian wall on the other one
and a great moat of propaganda all around
filled with crocodiles, sharks, snakes and piranhas.
The walls are meant to keep the Palestinians in.
The moat is intended to keep truth out
and drown attention.
