“Oh, what will happen now,” she asked because her newspaper told her to be concerned about the people of Afghanistan now that the USA was leaving.
She hadn’t been concerned about the people of Afghanistan for the past 20 years of bombs falling and hellfire missiles from drones wiping out homes, grandparents, children and a few neighbors and friends because a suspected militant was suspected of entering the home.
She hadn’t been concerned about the Afghans when the USA dropped the 10.000 kg Mother of All Bombs on Afghanistan to threaten and terrorize the people about what they could expect if they resisted the efforts of the USA to help them.
She hadn’t been concerned about the people when doors were kicked down in the middle of the night and mercenaries took the son for questioning, shot the father for protesting and raped the daughter for being attractive.
No. twenty years of occupation, destruction, terror, death, torture and depravation hadn’t awaken any concern, but now that the natives were about to defeat the super powerful aggressors and occupiers, her concern bubbles forth for the people about to be ruled by their own people, because her newspaper slapped a scary name on the liberators.
It seems her education never taught her that an empire always, without exception, paints their opponents in evil colors while decorating themselves in shiny goodness.
It seems her education never taught her about empires, but encouraged her to trust the information pouring down from imperial heights, turning her grey matter into obedient yellow.

The evils of greed (hunger for wealth; blood thirst; Mammon worship, etc.) have been known for at least 2000 years. Despite the repeated warnings of the hero’s of humanity, the modern world, is run by greed-diseased proponents of a money-oriented, private ownership, order of society. The latest empire in a succession of empires since the very first word of history, sugar-coats its rotten deeds with flowered words, but, like every other empire without exception, is evil. Empires are evil. They are enterprises of conquest to own the resources of the world and command the obedience of the those living on their territory or using their possessions.
And so we live in a money-oriented world, where Homo sapiens, who are 99.97% similar and equipped with community-oriented minds, suffer the dictates of a handful of greed-diseased rulers claiming to be the saviors, claiming to be <insert a nationality>, or <insert a religion> or <insert democratic/freedom-loving/progressive/philanthropist/ or any other noble word>, but are oriented toward the accumulation of possessions, power and wealth, whatever the cost to those who have to pay.
Homo sapiens, those of you who understand the nature of our common heritage, and the dignity of our universal family, build the world you want our children to inherit! Start now! You don’t have to ask any representative of the prevailing money-oriented order anything. Start living the way our family should live. Turn you backs on the money-oriented order ruled by the greed-diseased “owners” of the world. Share the wealth of the world, the wealth of our heritage.

The democracies are fakes. They are empires. Dying empires, growing empires, wannabe empires or tentacles of an empire, such as the countries within the North Atlantic Empire.
Democracies reflect the will of the majority. That’s it. If the majority is suffering and a tiny minority flourishing, all claims of democracy are full of fake, regardless of the extravagance of the voting circuses.

These two comparisons of inequality from Oxfam are similar to any country among the world’s fake democracies.
Empires are enterprises of conquest characterized by violence, destruction and death on the way up, and violence, destruction as death on the way down. Always. No exceptions.
Empires are the most consistent pattern of Homo sapiens’ development since the first word of history.
Empires are ruled by emperors. Rulers, not leaders. The may call themselves Pharaohs, Kings, Shoguns, Presidents, Prime Ministers, Whatevers. They are rulers, often part of an imperial council, but rulers, emperors.
One doesn’t talk power to emperors. One talks to the people. About empires. And tells them that democratic community ownership determines the health and wealth of people.

Jupiter Drift commented on the previous post and asked if I “have any thoughts about the European terrorists ethnic-cleansing the people of Palestine?”
Jupiter uses the term ethnic-cleansing. Apartheid is another term often used to describe the Israeli state. I prefer to speak of a holocaust, because I believe it to be the most accurate term. The other two terms are technically correct, but don’t convey the depth or extent of the evil inflicted on the Palestinians, explicitly spelled out in the definition of a holocaust; destruction and slaughter on a mass scale.
But even the term holocaust fails to capture the suffering and despair forced upon the Palestinians and supported by the “European terrorists”(ETs); the promoters, backers, suppliers, and tolerators of the racist degenerates running the Israeli holocaust machinery. The well-manicured enablers in prestigious positions treat the gang of criminals dressed in government formality with diplomatic legitimacy even though they murder, steal, torture, imprison, destroy, harass, and suppress the natives of the land. The UN has de facto declared itself morally bankrupt by allowing Israel to be a member of their organization while it flagrantly breaks, ignores, insults and defies practically all rules and declarations of the UN charter and the UN Declaration of Universal Human Rights.
Many ETs go deeper than immorality in the cesspool of lies and swim in hypocrisy. They repeat, for example, the ridiculous Israeli claim of “the right to defend themselves.” Where is this “right” for aggressors and occupiers? They speak of this “right” as though a law exists permitting the overlords to kill the survivors of their policies. A heavily armed soldier has the “right” to send an assault rifle bullet through the back of a fleeing 14-year-old boy who threw a stone at a tank? Elite soldiers have the “right” to board a ship in international waters and shoot unarmed passengers to death at pointblank range because they try to deliver humanitarian aid to the victims of the overlords?
It is difficult to paint the the extent of the evil that has been cast upon the Palestinians for more than 70 years. One needs paint of blood and tears with brushes of angry steel, and a canvas of bulldozed homes, torn-down orchards and traumatized children. Verbal description needs simple words heavier than gravity. When Palestine children were asked by an aid organization what they would like, the most common answer was, “A glass of water at lunchtime in school.”
