Putin as the WMD

The USA always – ALWAYS – paints their intended victim in frightening colors.
The liars are at it again.

The NoD (Network of Disinformation, aka MSM) has been force feeding the citizens with disinformation about Putin and Russia with the same frenzy as it propagated the myth of WMD (weapons of mass destruction) before invading Iraq. The citizens, with no other source of intellectual nourishment, swallow the junk again. They then vomit the official garbage whenever the topic arises and claim it’s gourmet truth. Attempts to tell them that their gospel is from the book of Big Brother have no effect. Suggesting a look at the other side of the conflict, Russia’s perspective and opinions, sounds like the rants of an imbecile to them. They fundamentally own THE truth and will warp any logic in opposition.

The new president doesn’t view Putin as a WMD. He must therefore be as terrible, dangerous and threatening as the designated enemy. Unfortunately, he is terrible, dangerous and threatening for the most part. The most part! Regardless of his policies in general, which will undoubtedly cause considerable damage and suffering to the people of the USA (while enriching the already enriched), his attempt to work with Russia, instead of provoking a highly possible nuclear war, seems reasonable.

Reason, however, no longer flies in the polluted atmosphere of American politics. Sightings of it have been rumored to appear in small cultural enclaves, but it doesn’t stand a chance of getting into the NoD and would be immediately crucified if it did.
