”There are no absolute truths,” he said.
”Is that absolutely true?” I asked.
”Are you trying to confuse me?”
”No, I’m trying to find out if you believe that everything is relative.”
”I do.”
”And that it’s absolutely true that everything is relative?”
He smiled and said, ”You’re a smart woman.”
”Do you believe God likes sex?” I asked.
”What kind of question is that?”
”A theoretical theological question. What difference does it make? Does he or doesn’t he?”
”You can’t ask a question like that.”
”Is there a law against it?” I asked.
”No, but it’s inappropriate.”
”My thoughts are inappropriate?”
”What made you think of that question?”
”I saw a single row of red leaves among rows of yellow leaves and thought about God and sex. I don’t know why.”
”I can’t answer your question,” he claimed, ”Besides, you don’t believe in God.”
”I don’t believe in your God that’s why I’d like to know if you believe he likes sex. It can’t influence him what you believe.”
”I think you are trying to trick me.”
”I think I’m trying to find out if you believe God likes sex.”
”I don’t know and I’m not going to answer that question.”
”Well, I certainly like sex.”
”Does that mean that you want to have sex?” he asked after some hesitation.
”Yes,” I replied. ”but not with you. I like men with hard answers.”
War is hell and more
rumors and lies galore
angry steel and the fire’s roar
homes in rubble, blood on the floor
pain, sorrow, death and a soul-deep sore.
There’s nothing as evil as war.
Those who throw open its door
wear titles we can’t ignore,
own prestige we’re taught to adore
and ooze charm like a penthouse whore.
We know who they’re working for.

Here is the opening statement on the Firefighters for 9/11 Truth site:
An Appeal to Firefighters, Present and Past from a retired FDNY Lieutenant
Fellow Firefighters, A great tragedy befell our community on September 11, 2001, an unprecedented 343 deaths in the line of duty. As horrible as that toll is, if there were a rational explanation for it, we could accept it and mourn. We all understood the risk we accepted when we took the oath of office, that chance might cut short our lives when we placed ourselves in harm’s way in the public’s service. This is what we are paid for and it is our honor. However, in short, the official explanation of the events of that day are not only insufficient, they are fantastic and cannot bear rational examination. We are asked to believe that on that day three structural steel buildings, which have never before in history collapsed because of fire, fell neatly into their basements at the speed of gravity, their concrete reduced to dust. We are asked to believe that jet fuel (kerosene) can melt steel. We are asked to believe that the most sophisticated air defense system in the world, that responded to sixty-eight emergencies in the year prior to 9-11 in less than twenty minutes allowed aircraft to wander about for up to an hour and a half. We are asked to believe that the steel and titanium components of an aircraft that supposedly hit the Pentagon “evaporated”. There is much, much more if anyone cares to look into it. Trade Tower #7 by itself is the “smoking gun”. Not hit by an aircraft, with only a few relatively small fires, it came down in a classic crimp and implosion, going straight into its basement, something only very precise demolition can accomplish, which takes days if not weeks to prepare. The 9-11 Commission didn’t even mention it, and F.E.M.A. actually stated they DIDN’T KNOW WHY IT COLLAPSED AND LEFT IT AT THAT. Brothers, I know that the implications of the above are hard, almost unthinkable, but the official explanation is utter nonsense, and three hundred and forty three murdered brothers are crying out for justice. Demand a genuine investigation into the events of September 11!

They tore up some fields and tore down some forests to build a Shopping Center where they sell ecologically approved products.
A group of NGOs got together with some do-goodies at the Bird Housing Foundation and built a house for birds displaced by the shopping center.
Statement by Bird Bard:
We fly on the breeze and rest in trees.
We sing with ease, eat worms and seeds,
fruit, berries and bees, bugs, beetles and fleas.
We’ll get by – but not on our knees –
and shit on you whenever we please.
The writing on the wall isn’t always written on the wall. It can be written in silence, engraved on things unsaid, or written on the emptiness of things undone. It can be written in the glow of neon falling on an outstretched palm.
It can be written on a kind gesture or underlined on a smile. The writing on the wall is the epic of our times.
Hurry, hurry, hurry. Swandy is not going anyhere, but he’s going to get there quicky.
He tears through life. Blindly. Quickly. Even as life is ripping him apart, he imagines that he’s not going to change. He’s convinced himself that he’s a pillar of the community. He’s only part of the false fasade.
Today marks one month of posting a daily photoblog, 336 days to go.

Are we at the dusk or dawn of humanity’s adventure on earth?
Two quotes from the book System Humanity:
(Dusk?)
”The way that humanity consumes resources and changes the environment threatens its very existence.
The unwillingness to recognize this possibility strengthens its tendency.”(Dawn?)
”Humanity has the ability to create a healthy and thriving society in harmony with the conditions of the earth.
The unwillingness to support this possibility hinders its chances of success.”
The root stops at nothing to nourish the life of the plant. It goes down, in, around, over, through, by and under any obstacle to get at nourishment so that the plant may thrive. It twists, turns and clings to the earth so that the plant will stand firm in any storm.
The root knows the earth intimately, its chemistry, its moisture, its minerals, its micro organisms and its warmth. It steadily gathers this knowledge to serve the plant. It cares not for how it looks. The blows it encounters are taken in stride. It’s flexible, firm, tough and relentless in its determination to serve life and give the plant what it needs.
The next time you walk over or step on a root ask yourself,
”How do I serve life and the plant of humanity?”
