Kaepernick scored a direct hit against the rulers. They’re now in damage control mode. We can almost hear the alarm horns wailing, Whooa,whooa,whooa… we’ve been hit and are taking heat. All hands to their stations! Attack this guy with the media and don’t report any other sit-downs anywhere!
The first, raw Christians were persecuted and thrown to lions because they refused to recognize the authority of Rome. They served a higher authority. That could not be tolerated.
Kap’s demonstration did what the raw Christians did. He refused to recognize the authority of the symbols employed by the rulers. He stated specifically that he served a higher authority, freedom (from oppression) and justice.
That can not be tolerated. When rulers lose the obedience of their subjects, their days are numbered.
The powers encourage the indoctrinated fans to act like lions, and to make the media roar! This guy should be eaten! Kap, like Daniel in the lion den, stands his ground by not standing up.
The rulers are scared to their core. Should this spread they will experience how ”too big to fail” becomes ”the bigger they are the harder they fall”.
We don’t know what will happen. Kap has scored a political touchdown. That’s not the same thing as winning the game, but, for a time at least, no unarmed person of color is going to be executed* by a badge with a gun.
Support Kap! Sit down! Let the rulers with their empty words and diverting symbols know what authority you recognize!

A true hero stepped forward by remaining seated. Everyone else in the stadium stood up to honor a flag. Colin Kaepernick, a key player, did not.
The reaction couldn’t have been more fiery if he had detonated a belt of explosives around his waist. The media and the fans attacked him with verbal passion worthy of the worst football hooligans. Colin had committed the audacious crime of remaining seated when everyone else stood to honor the symbol of the nation.
Colin speaks for many people besides the media pundits and the intellectual hooligans.

Why do the 1% spend so much time and money entertaining us with the election circus? Two reasons.
1. They must maintain the illusion of democracy and delude the citizens into believing that they can influence the course of events by voting.
Time and time again they switch the flavors, but serve the same junk. Nothing changes. The Humpties or the Dumpties win the right to receive lobby-bribe commands, the few super-rich get fewer and richer while more and more citizens become poorer and sicker, conditions grow worse, conflicts spread, millions migrate and the environment gets hotter and hotter regardless of which titled clown pretends to run the country.
2. They must demonstrate for their administrators, captains and puppets throughout the world that they have control over the people.
Fewer and fewer people take part in the show and don’t bother to vote. It’s embarrassing. The princes, presidents and power-dealers lose confidence in the capabilities of the rulers, and the people lose faith in the institutions governing them. The corporate commanders (the rulers, the 1%) are desperate to get the people to the voting boths. So the circus gets longer and longer, louder and louder and the clowns scarier and scarier. Vote for the little monster or the big monster will do terrible things.
Terrible things are going to happen, or rather will continue to happen, no matter who plays the part of the Chief Clown with a crown.

BTW, have you noticed that the people who don’t vote don’t get noticed. The media-approved ”experts” never tire of speaking of the population as passive and dumb-downed. Yet two-thirds of the eligible voters avoid the polls the way they avoid dog-shit on the pavement. They do this actively because they know that ”Money talks and bullshit walks.” The flock of intelligentsia however haven’t caught on yet, and keep stepping in shit.

NOTE: This is a re-run from almost exactly two years ago. The election circus drowns out much of real news in the world. Like the continued ongoing extermination of the Palestinian people.
Khalil, 10 years old, resident of a refugee camp, committed the crime of throwing a stone at an armored vehicle. He paid for his crime almost immediately. His judge, jury and executioner, an IDF soldier who had been in the vehicle, shot him in the back before he got 50 meters away. For those of you not familiar with weapons, 50 meters is as good as point-blank range for a military rifle. The soldier wasn’t trying to warn, scare or stop him. It was premeditated murder of a 10 year-old who dared throw a stone at an armored vehicle of the occupying forces.
The bestiality of this killing was so obvious, that the IDF claimed to regret the death.
Regret the death! I regret breaking a cup, or forgetting a birthday, or believing the promises of a politician, so let’s be deadly honest, the IDF doesn’t regret the death (murder/killing/execution) of a Palestinian of any age or gender. The real regret concerns exposing the savage nature of the IDF. We didn’t hear of regrets when IDF snipers snuffed out the lives of children recently. So much killing, bombing and destruction was going on at the time that hardly anyone outside of Gaza noticed. No notice, no regrets.
Perception management is the name of the game. The unseen rulers determine what we look at and what we see. Public perception is managed to stare in horror at the beheading of a journalist. Beheading—guillotine raw—kills quickly and relatively painlessly, like hanging, lethal injection, electrocution and other forms legalised murder. Real horror is when a father tries to stop the life from bleeding out of a bullets hole in the back of his ten-year-old son on the way to a hospital in a private car because no ambulances are available to refugee camp inhabitants, and the car is so shaky, his tears so heavy and his hopes so desperate that he keeps seeing signs of life in the lifeless body before they arrive at the hospital.
Rest in peace, Khalil. I’m so sorry your stone didn’t have more effect. But how could it? The real Goliath was far away. Let’s hope your friends improve their perception.
