Gaza Crime Scene, Forensics

5BridgeLocks6_9561
Remains of American weapons everywhere.
Missiles were launched from American
delivery systems (planes and helicopters).

Schools, hospitals, residential houses, water supplies and power stations bombed.
Ambulances riddled with bullets.
Children penetrated with sniper munitions.

We are obviously dealing with perpetrators who are
demented (lacking mental abilities),
deranged (extremely confused)
and
depraved (mentally damaged and broken).

The magnitude of the psychopathic rage on display
points to greed diseased persons
at the very top (1%) of a mighty economic hierarchy.

Let’s get to work!

Some Birds Sing, Some Shout

Double Dartwill from 2013-07-14

Double Dartwill from 2013-07-14 – (Saturday rerun)

I’m gonna curl my feathers and paint the tips of my wings.
I’m gonna pierce my beak and wear gold identity rings.
On my breast I’ll get a tattoo, “Cats just ain’t my thing.”
and do my tail in the style called Party Flyers’ Fling.
I won’t be able to fly and I won’t be able to sing
but everyone will see that no one pulls my strings.
Pling!

Biblical Unmentionables

Purillo60880
Everyone knows that Moses received the 10 commandments containing “Thou shall not kill?” But few know that he had no kill problems with the people who went against him or criticized him or questioned his decisions or even said things he didn’t want to hear. Thousands of Israelites never lived to cross the Jordan River because they had first crossed Moses. When some of his men mingled with a few of the Midianite ladies, Moses sent in his armies to wipe out the Midianites. Make war, not love! could have been his motto. After killing all the men the troops came back with the bounty of their victory along with the women and children. How did Moses greet his victorious troops? He was angry. “Why have you allowed the women and children to live?” he yelled and commanded that they all be killed. Almost all. Young, virgin women could be spared and used as “wives.”

These aspects of Moses are rarely mentioned. I’ve just quoted from Num 31. Moses never crosses the Jordan, but before he dies he tells Joshua to kill everyone on the other side, wipe them out “so that not even their name survives.” Joshua follows his master’s orders. After listing kingdom after kingdom that was destroyed Joshua 10:40 summarizes: “So Joshua subdued the whole region … He left no survivors. He totally destroyed all who breathed, just as the Lord, the God of Israel, had commanded.”

An unwritten rule labels these passages unmentionable. Concentrate on Joshua at Jericho and anything about Moses from the time he was a basket case to his receiving stone tablets from a burning bush will do. Skip the other stuff!
Were the Bible a CIA document the Solomon section would be heavily black-pen sanitized. Mentioning his 300 wives and 600 concubines doesn’t sit well with family values. And how wise was that? Not to mention how this wise guy taxed the people into poverty and caused the kingdom to split in two.
Even though Moses, Joshua, Solomon and the kingdom of Israel itself live only in a book and cannot be found with historical evidence, it forms the basis of giving a majority of Palestine to the fanatical Zionists.
I guess we have to wait for a new book where the people “fit” the battle of Palestine and Zionists come tumbling down – on the way to conquering the ungodly powers who back them.

White Feather of Zionist Truth

(... contined from yesterday. I hope I got you to listen to Alison Weir. Although I did underestimate the strength of the I-lobby, the three blogs about the AIPAC myth still own validity.)
I dreamed that a white feather of truth fell on the dark waters of Zionist propaganda forcing them to speak in context. They now said:

We have a right to defend ourselves
against any irritating resistance to our campaign of genocide.
We remember our holocaust
and we’ll do things differently.
Hauling people off to extermination centers is logistically complicated,
expensive and politically dangerous.
We’ll simply keep them confined, bomb the shit out of them and cut off their means of survival.
Our powerful friends will cover our backs.
After all, we’re doing it for them.
Today Israel, tomorrow the Middle East.

AIPAC Lobby Myth 3 – Preventing the Blush

If it wasn’t for me this rock would float out to sea.

If it wasn’t for me this rock would float out to sea.

Read Kill Anything That Moves by Nick Turse. I’m on my knees, hands clasped and begging. Ok, groveling. Please read it. If you want to test the waters before jumping in, you can start with Chris Hedges’ review. The book is about Vietnam where the USA killed 3 million Vietnamese and sacrificed 55 000 Americans. The Christian Americans were at least as vicious and violent as the Zionist Israelis of today. The Vietnam war ended four decades ago. Has America changed since then? Of course it has. It’s gotten worse.

Since Vietnam, particularly after the exposure of the My Lai massacre, psyops has grown from a unit of the military to one of its most powerful sectors.* Psyops stands for psychological operations. It’s often equated with modern propaganda, but propaganda is merely a part of the operations. It collects as well as disseminates information and engages in physical undertakings. Psyops can be seen as one of the two arms of the military. Troops and weapons are one arm aiming for the flesh, whereas psyops, the other arm, goes for the soul.

Hedges’s review names a group that was formed

to investigate the hundreds of reports of torture, rape, kidnapping, forced displacement, beatings, arson, mutilation, executions and massacres carried out by U.S. troops. But the object of the group was not to discipline or to halt the abuses. It was, as Turse writes, “to ensure that the army would never again be caught off-guard by a major war crimes scandal.”

!! Not “never commit war crimes”, but “never get caught.”

Michael B. Oren, former Israel Ambassador to USA writes in Power, Faith, and Fantasy, “Though founded in 1953, AIPAC had only now in the mid-70s, achieved the financial and political clout necessary to sway congressional opinion.”

Oren appears to be a sloppy writer. AIPAC didn’t achieve “financial and political clout”, its increased financial strength made the political clout possible. How come its finances improved so drastically after more than 20 years? Hmmm?

Global war crimes scandal > psyops grows > think-tank to prevent war crime scandal > AIPAC grows financial muscles > Israel goes from being USA’s unsinkable battleship to become the dictator of US foreign policy. Hhmmm?

Perhaps big money can help us out here. The CEO of Bank of America stood before a congressional committee in 1971 and explained how the Vietnam war was causing serious damage to the US economy. He wanted the US to cut its loses and get out. Something he said at the conclusion of his testimony remains entrenched in my memory, from which I quote:
“One more aspect needs mentioning. A tendency that is only a blush today can grow into a raging flame. The youth of our nation are losing faith in the institutions that govern us.”

The pieces fall into place. The birth of the I-lobby as a force “to sway congressional opinion” was part of the psyops to repair and maintain the image of the US as a good-guy nation and restore faith its institutions. From now on, as long as psyops did its job, the tail would wag the dog. Israel, which functions as the foremost military base of the empire, positioned at the port of a sea of oil, would take all the heat and the US would avoid any “major war crimes scandal.” It worked for the most part.

Take, for example, the present ferocious killing spree of the people trapped in Gaza. Most of the world knows who supplies Israel with the money, weapons, logistics and diplomatic support, but psyops keeps dropping I-lobby bombs as intensely as Israel bombs the hospitals, schools and homes of the Palestinians.

Can anyone imagine Israel doing anything, anything at all, that the US military doesn’t want done? Thinking of the US military and the I-lobby reminds me of Netanyahu and a very old joke. While a fly tries to fuck an elephant a coconut falls on the elephant’s head and it says, “Ow!” The fly looks up and asks, “Did I hurt you, dear?”

“Get your head out of your ass!” my US Army sergeant used to say when someone did something particularly stupid. This expression should be launched at the people claiming that the I-lobby controls the USA. The US military could crush Israel as easily as an elephant crushes a fly. They could exterminate the I-lobby rats in a week. Not only doesn’t Israel, with or without the lobby, have a chance against the military, they have no chance against the weapons industry, the oil industry, the farming industry or any number of power groups within the USA. Even many individuals and families could stop Israel dead in its tracks; Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, the Waltons, the Mars family and others.

Let’s rephrase the question. Is it the 1% or the I-lobby that controls the government (“sways congressional opinion”)? The tail doesn’t wag the dog. Israel is USA’s vicious beast on a leash. It’s very painful for American’s to accept, but the US of A bears as much responsibility for murdering the woman and children and grandfathers and lovers in Gaza as the demented Zionists in Israel. Who shoulders the responsibility for massacring the Vietnamese peasants, the US soldiers or the US government?

The Bureau of Investigative Journalism in the UK has collected the names of more than 700 people killed by drones in Pakistan alone. There’s a difference between murdering the Palestinians in mass under a short period with planes, tanks and snipers, and murdering the people in Pakistan, Sudan, Afghanistan and Yemen a few at a time under an extended period with drones. The murderers however are the same. The I-lobby has nothing to do with the drone killings, and they function merely as a diversion in the Palestinian holocaust. This tiny group of courageous people in Gaza awaken the rage of the empire because they can’t be bought, corrupted or split. They stand up to the monster and, by spitting in its face, expose the full extent of its horrible nature. The Palestinians are not only fighting for their survival, they are fighting for all of us.

A friend pointed out that the USA is taking a lot of heat because of Israel. Of course they are. But while some countries are calling home their ambassadors from Israel to protest against the atrocities, no one is calling home American ambassadors. It’s not a “major war crimes scandal” for the Yanks. And while many people boycott Israeli products, hardly anyone boycotts American products. Sure America is taking heat, but, as a 1%er might say, “It’s better that they stop buying oranges and soda stream from Israel than they stop eating at McDonalds and drinking Coke.”

*(When referring to the military I mean the entire apparatus that consumes half of the national budget. Psyops, for all practical purposes, in this article particularly, includes the entire intelligence community.)

The Glass Zoo

GlassZoo7_9376
Thanks, Mr Gunness (spokesman for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency). I saw the YouTube video where after saying, “The rights of Palestinians, even their children, are wholesale denied, and it’s appalling,” you break down and cry uncontrollably. Your tears burst a valve in me and I cried as well. I realized that I’d been holding these tears back for days because I felt unworthy of crying. What were my tears compared to those of the Palestinians crying for their dead and maimed loved ones?

Anger and fear robs me of sleep and contaminates my consciousness; anger at the murdering monsters and their sociopathic cheerleaders, and fear at witnessing the depths of depravity to which Homo sapiens can sink.

I flee from my frustration at not being able to stop the barbarity by fantasizing on a time when the criminals are brought to justice. They will undoubtedly be found guilty of crimes against humanity. But how should we deal with them? I’m against capital punishment, but I’m also a democracy fundamentalist. Should the majority of people decide to hang these diseased, decadent, depraved, deranged and demented disciples of the devil*, I’d make no attempt to remove the noose from their necks. (*Sorry, that just ran out of me.)
I’m also against torture and simply sending them to prison seems terribly inadequate.
I’ve contemplated many ways of dealing with this problem (many of which I’m ashamed to have even thought of) until I found a solution that seems reasonable. A glass zoo.

These human-like creatures should be housed in a glass zoo. They should be naked because they’ve behaved worse than animals, lied and kept so many secrets from the public, that they should be viewed as transparently and honestly as possible. Here they are. Regard!

The temperature in their confinement should be comfortable and they should receive a nourishing diet and have equipment to exercise. That’s it. They obviously can’t understand simple human communication, so books and electronic media need not disturb their warped minds.

The zoo would be very large to house all the criminals, but that shouldn’t be a problem. Tourists flocking from all over the world require a large area. Restaurants, picnic areas, gift shops, museums and other attractions would supplement the glass confinements. Information about each prisoner would be available to any handheld device. The visitors could learn about what fine schools they attended, the prestigious titles they wore, the high positions they held, awards they received and the wealth they possessed. Against these facts quotations could illustrate their profound stupidity, vile lies and blatant hypocrisy.

Surely these beasts belong to a species headed for extinction. The zoo would have to be transformed into something beneficial to the people in pace with the inmates’ natural deaths.

Crazy idea? Perhaps. But fantasizing about the glass zoo gives me temporary relief from the present atrocities being caused by the eventual inhabitants.

AIPAC Lobby Myth 2 – Love of Hate

Gorru2.6_9354
Sarah Lazare writes in Common Dreams (July 28, 2014):
“As the civilian death toll in Gaza continues to climb, the U.S. House of Representatives has introduced a symbolic resolution—backed by the powerful American Israel Public Affairs Committee”

Sarah takes a clear position against Israeli aggression, but why state that the resolution is “backed by the powerful American Israel Public Affairs Committee”. Of course it’s backed by AIPAC. In fact, we can be rather certain that it was written by AIPAC. So what? Is there any resolution or law put to Congress that isn’t supported (and most likely written) by some lobby group? No! But the lobby group rarely gets mentioned unless it’s the I-lobby and then mentioning it rarely gets neglected.

Why the “powerful” lobby? Powerful compared to what? The military/weapons lobby could eat the I-lobby for a snack, as could the lobbies representing Oil/energy, agriculture, electronics, commercial aviation, and others. AIPAC is even swamped by both the Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirate lobbies.

Promoting the I-lobby as the force generating American politics hides the real forces generating American politics. Instead of claiming that Israel runs the show, we should ask why those running the show are so locked into supporting Israel? Why is this vicious, racist state regarded as an asset? Why is this “unsinkable battleship”, as it used to be called, so vital to the empire?

Israel as a battleship makes sense when fighting to control a sea of oil. The military metaphor also floats well for the weapons industry that gets more of the $3 billion given to Israel every year than the Israelis. Allocating money as aid sugars the sour pill of military expenditures.

Military, strategic, economic and energy considerations weigh heavily in understanding the Israel game. These considerations were already in place when Israel illegitimately came into existence long before AIPAC appeared. Many of those who embrace the idea that the I-lobby runs America may as well believe that the Zionist-Israeli baby determined its Anglo-American parents.

Britain (with American approval) brokered the Zionists to established Israel. It was, together with the other European powers, severely battered by WWII and socialist sympathies were on a roll. The Soviets had stopped the Nazi advance in Stalingrad and had taken Berlin. The Chinese communists had routed the imperial Japanese forces. The Greek communist partisans had defeated the Nazis by themselves. Local communist/socialist/social democrat groups had established liberated areas throughout Europe and were destined to defeat the Nazis. Solidarity among those who struggled against fascism was vibrant. Panic rippled through the moneyed class. The people were uniting. The establishment of Israel can be viewed as a major front of their counter-attack.

Israel helped dilute a socialist thrust in European politics. Jews were solidly encamped within the socialist and leftist forces after the war. Israel diverted their attention and energy to the “homeland” outside of Europe. Israel was sold not only as a democracy, but also as a socialist experiment. Even gentiles would flock to Israel to work on the kibbutzes and take part in communal living.

Love of Hate
Worst of all, Israel injected religion back into politics. The separation of church and state, religion and politics, was all but complete after the war. Solidarity based on the needs and desires of all people flew everywhere. Kemal Ataturk, the father of modern Turkey, had already summed up this trend in the 1930s when he told religious groups that if they wanted to practice religion they should go to their places of worship. Government practices politics.

The creation of a religious state, Jewish or otherwise, should have set off alarm bells everywhere. The trauma of the war however, with its apocalyptic destruction and 40 million deaths, seems to have short-circuited the alarm system. The people were so damaged by their journey through hell that they even swallowed the claim that Israel was a democracy. How could a government explicitly favoring one of two groups be described as a democracy? That is only possible if the excluded group doesn’t count. And it didn’t, did it?

No, Dorothy, Anglo-America didn’t create Israel because of a concern for people. Power politics lusting for wealth and control decided policy. As usual. The people in charge were well aware of the atrocities against the Palestinian people and kept them hidden under claims of helping the poor Zionists perpetrators who had experienced atrocities.

Great flames of decadence burning in “the holy land” illuminate the classic tactics of divide and conquer. Generate hate and conflict to split the people using religion, nationalism and ethnicity. Israel was perfect for the job.

Note: The USA didn’t win WWII, it co-opted the victory. Europe, riding the tide of Soviet advances, was well on its way to defeating the Nazis. Germany’s surrender was less than a year away when American forces landed in Normandy. In the east, it took two atomic bombs to prevent the Chinese from taking part in the Japanese surrender. The victor (even those who co-opt the victory) writes the history.

Divide and conquer! Promote hate and conflict! This most powerful, cheap and effect weapon can be observed everywhere. Detonate a bomb among the Xs and blame it on the Ys. Equip and encourage some Ys to retaliate against the Xs. The conflict can now grow by itself. It’s so easy that a couple of agents could do on their lunch break. Keep the people fighting among themselves and the powers causing the conflict can count their profits in peace.

The people in control of today’s money-oriented world (the 1%) love hate, which they fuel with religion, nationalism and ethnicity. The I-lobby myth (nudge, nudge and whisper: and the economic power of the Jews) functions as a component of the hate diversion. Let us assume that the Jews rule the USA. So what? What does the religious orientation of the rulers have to do with it? Are they trying to enforce Mosaic law? It’s the politics, dummy. Stick to the politics! That’s how to follow the money.

Would the politics of the North Atlantic Empire be any different without Jews? Of course not. This empire acts the way empires have always acted. Were the Christian Nazis particularly humane due to their Christianity? Was there any significant difference between them and the Japanese Imperial forces? How about the native African slave traders who hunted, killed and captured millions of Africans for almost 300 years to sell to European traders? Should they be absolved because they weren’t racists?

Anything that diverts the people from the political struggle weakens their chance of success. It has been pointed out that 42 of the 535 members of the US Congress have dual American-Israeli citizenship. This is truly a disgrace. Treason, actually! It should be a no-brainer that representatives of a nation should have allegiance to no other nation. Many people refer to this abnormality as an example of the I-lobby and Jew-power. Typically, they seem blind to the over 400 red-blooded, apple-pie eating, church-going Congress officials who allow this travesty of democracy.

Stick to the politics!

Part of the recent blitz of propaganda against the Palestinians claimed that Hamas wants its mothers and children to be killed to gain sympathy. I don’t doubt that Israel authored this idiocy. Does that resolve the journalists, pundits and politicians who repeat it? Anyone stupid enough to swallow such garbage should have their minds circumcised. Those who amplify this murder-excusing lunacy, for any reason, will, hopefully, feel the full weight of their direct complicity in genocide. Pointing to the I-lobby as an excuse for their despicable behavior will echo the commanders of Nazi concentration camps claiming that they were just following orders. Oh, you would lose your job! Tell it to those who saw their loved-ones torn apart by the bombs.

The myth of the AIPAC lobby serves the interests of those who love hate.

Stick to the politics! Divide and conquer is one side of political struggle.
Unite for victory is the other side.

AIPAC Lobby Myth – Bribers and Bribees

- If it wasn’t for me you would never have noticed the tree. - I didn't notice the tree. I noticed you.

– If it wasn’t for me you would never have noticed the tree.
– I didn’t notice the tree. I noticed you.

Professor Stephen Walt, co-author of The Israel Lobby, headlines his article in the Huffington Post (July 22, 2014): AIPAC Is the Only Explanation for America’s Morally Bankrupt Israel Policy.

The “only explanation” theme is repeated in the second paragraph, “no other plausible explanation for the supine (= passive) behavior of the U.S. congress.”
The professor wants us to believe that the Israel lobby makes “Washington look callous and hypocritical in the eyes of most of the world” and causes “America’s morally bankrupt policy”.

This Ph.D. in political science and professor of international affairs at Harvard University seems unaware that most of the people of the world already view America as callous, hypocritical and morally bankrupt regardless of Israel. By the way, America has not been passive during the latest attacks on Gaza. They’ve been whipping up propaganda against Hamas in every channel of information at their disposal. This condemn-the-victim-defend-the-killer tactic has been on display since Vietnam, as has America’s moral bankruptcy.

Walt explicitly supports Israel’s existence but the support is fading as Israel moves “further down the road to becoming a full-fledged apartheid state.” It would be interesting to hear his definition of “full-fledged” apartheid, as well as his justification for supporting Israel’s existence, but let’s return to the lobby myth.

Previously, Israel was regarded as USA’s unsinkable battleship in the Middle East. NATO Commander Alexander Haig and Reagan’s Secretary of Defense Caspar Weinberger are among those who used this expression. How did the battleship come to dictate USA policy?

It didn’t. Nothing changed. Just as torture became enhanced interrogation, kidnapping transformed into rendition and killed civilians got covered with collateral damage, the unsinkable battleship warped into a lobby group. Americans (as most people) are all too eager to believe it’s the other guy’s fault. This takes pressure off their own “good guys”. Israel also gets to function as a life-boat in case the (battle)ship ever has to be abandoned.

Shifting perspective to the Israel lobby diverts attention from the military weapons industry that receives most of the 3 billion “aid” dollars given to Israel every year.

Professor Walt refers to the Israel lobby as the “leviathan (= giant) among lobbies.” It’s not. It’s not even in the same league as the big lobbies and compared to the weapons and military lobbies it’s the errand boy. Northrop Grumman, Boeing and Lockheed Martin for example EACH spend three times as much as the Israel lobby.

The AIPAC-rules theory doesn’t account for foreign policy decisions that go against Israeli wishes. We must also ask if US politics would be any different without AIPAC. Against the track record of USA’s hypocritical and morally bankrupt actions over the years, the question seems rhetorical.

A key question that doesn’t get asked is why professor Walt and the advocates of lobby theory only deal with half the problem? Shouldn’t the bribees receive as much attention as the bribers?

Bribers and Bribees
A bribee is the taker of a bribe given by a briber. In films and TV-series the chief criminal, regardless of his lack of scruples and ease of murdering opponents, comes off as a hero in comparison with the police, politicians and government agents he bribes. The corrupt bribees are portrayed as despicable subservient cowards. In real life AIPAC bribees are barely portrayed at all. When they are mentioned, these subservient cowards are treated with sympathy. The poor congressperson must fall in line with the lobby or reelection is out of the question. That’s it?! The corrupt officials are forced to be corrupt or they won’t get reelected (and will lose their bribee benefits)?

Is it really AIPAC that has created a government of traitorous bribees crawling in obedience to a foreign power? Are the representatives of the American people so devoid of backbone that they can be bought to support aggression, apartheid and genocide?

We resist acknowledging that our government is a herd of bribees. This provides the peddlers of the Israel lobby myth eager buyers of “It’s the foreigners’ fault.” As long as 99% of the attention points to the bribers, the bribees can enjoy the spoils of their corruption and the ILobby myth can continue to hide the rot at the core of America’s morally bankrupt political system.

Count Bernadotte Street 1, Gaza

BernadotteSt
I wonder if the marble street sign still hangs on the wall, or has it fallen like so many of the children and mothers of Gaza?

Folke Bernadotte was a Swedish nobleman (cousin to the king) and highly respected diplomat. He had, in his capacity of vice chairman for the Swedish Red Cross, succeeded in transporting 11 000 people from Nazi concentration camps to Sweden in the last period of WWII.

When the 1948 Arab-Israeli War broke out on the heels of Israel’s unilateral Declaration of Independence, the United Nations appointed Folke as their official mediator (the first ever). He quickly established a truce. Unfortunately his proposal for maintaining the truce was a relatively fair one.

An Israeli military jeep blocked his car traveling through Jerusalem. One of the four men who got out of the jeep, walked up to the car and shot Bernadotte to death along with the French colonel André Serot sitting next to him.

The assassins went on to make careers in the Israeli government. Yitzhak Shamir, one of the group’s leaders, would eventually become the Prime Minister of Israel.

The character of the Zionists was exposed. That was 1948. The beast was just getting started.
