The Flammer Method and the Virus

Many examples of the American way to deal with problems can be summed up as the fly and hammer method, the Flammer Method, or to flammerize.  It refers to using a big hammer (so as not to miss) to smash a fly. Oh look, there’s a fly on the piano. SMASH! Got it. And there’s another one on grandma’s knee. SMASH! Fly’s gone. Will someone take a look at grandma. She seems to have fainted.

Does this not exemplify what the red-white-and-blue rulers do time and time again? Remember how they killed 3 million Vietnamese to save them from Vietnam. Big hammer. Korea? Bombed the country back to the Stone Age. Big hammer. To save them. They’ve been flammering 100s of 1000s of Iraqis for 17 years to save the from a leader who could have used weapons of mass destruction that he didn’t have. I don’t know how many Afghans they’ve flammered, or even why, for 19 years now, but we are told that the people have been flammered for a good reason. Syria has been flammered. 100s of 1000s killed, impoverished and made homeless, not to mention its beautiful ancient cities pulverized, to save them from a leader who is a bad guy according to the flammerers. Libya, the country which had the highest standard of living in Africa, also had a bad guy leader. Flammerized! I’m not going to list all the other countries and people who were sacrificed by flammerization, but I must mention The War on Terrorism. Thanks to the Flammer Method in the form of drones and hellfire missiles, it produced 10 times more terrorists than it eliminated.

And now the whole world gets to experience the Flammer Method to fight a yearly influenza. Millions of people will die and be thrown into desperation and misery in order to save thousands  (who are already sick or weak) from dying. An international hammer pounds away at a microscopic influenza virus. Smash, smash and millions of smashes.

When will this end? I don’t know, but there is a possibility of an atomic hammer. SMASHADOOOOOOM!

Anti-White-Supremacy Racists

BlueStoneBase121930

The term white supremacy is the current catchword bouncing around the media. The citizens of the exceptional nation are being opinionated to believe that white racism causes the problems plaguing the country. Many prestige progressives are all in condemning white supremacy, which is racist because it defines the issue in racist terms. Racism is unquestionably causing conflict, pain, devastation, inequality, slavery and death throughout the land, but it’s a symptom, not the cause of the problem. The San Francisco Chronicle (Otis R.Taylor Jr., 2020-08-30) illustrates this racist stupidity with black and white clarity. The headline reads:
We’re witnessing a battle over America: Equality versus white supremacy.

Here’s a one question test.
1. What causes inequality in America, economics or racism?
(Hint: Has racism generated over 600 billionaires with a net worth of 3 trillion dollars, or has the influence of the billionaires promoted racism? Who benefits by having the races fighting each other instead of uniting for common interests?)

For further help with the one question consult your nearest mental health institution. But here’s an extra hint just in case a few brain cells are still functioning. Were the black Africans who killed and captured millions of black Africans to be sold to European traders for over 200 years white supremacists?

Racism is a character trait of American exceptionality. Minorities have always been the scapegoats of the elite, whether of powerful kingdoms or empires.

Extra question for extra points.
2. Does racism cause the love of money or does the love of money cause racism?

10 Features of Empire

BluestoneHand122114

The Features of Empires

1: Empires rise and fall as consistently as life and death.

Every empire without exception grows, reaches the limits of its expansion and power, and starts to lose its strength as resistance, corruption and decadence spread. It falls. This pattern of growth, consolidation and decline occurs consistently. Always. No exceptions.

2: Empires are enterprises of conquest.

Empires grow through conquest. They could not have become an empire otherwise. Their size, strength and status result from acquiring land, resources and subjects. The subjects are people who are subordinate to the demands of the rulers; demands that invariably require the people to supply the rulers with labor or products, taxes in one form or another.

3: Violence, death and destruction are functions of an empire.

An empire grows in conflict with competing powers and resistance to its expansion. Internal contradictions intensify among the rulers when the empire weakens and the pressure of external resistance grows. Violence, death and destruction pave the way for the empire’s growth and radiate from its desperation during its decline. Violence, death and destruction on the way up, violence, death and destruction on the way down. This great human tragedy repeats itself without exception throughout history.

4: Empires are pyramid-shaped.

Empires are structured with a tiny group of people in charge who own the resources of their realm and demand a percentage of the labor of the masses within their jurisdiction. The rulers are buffered from the people by an administration of professionals, advisors, spiritual leaders, and enforcers.

The shape of the pyramid varies for different empires and during different stages of an empire, but the percentages shift insignificantly; 1% rule, 4% serve the rulers, and 95% toil. Or there about. A little ruling group at the top with masses of laboring people below has been the typical configuration from the first small kingdoms till today’s globalized empire pretending to be a mere superpower.

5: Empires justify themselves.

Empires always anoint themselves with legitimacy, often using their position of dominance as proof of their superiority. In the early kingdoms and first empires might was right without question. Major rulers claimed to be representatives of God. Today’s dominant empire claims to be a democracy despite a government consisting entirely of the riches people in the empire representing 1% of the population. This pyramidal social structure with the richest members of society packed into the point at the top typifies most of today’s “democracies.”

Names and forms change but the prevailing pyramidal order remains the same. Nobles are now corporate commanders and what used to be scribes glorifying the pyramidal order are now journalists, intellectuals and media producers glorifying the prevailing (money-oriented) order. You get the picture. Whatever they call themselves, a tiny group dictates the conditions for the masses who are generally obedient due to the disinformation pouring down from the heights of power, and generally frightened due to a reality polluted with injustice, insecurity and uncertainty.

6: The empires tend to be bigger and bigger but last for a shorter and shorter time.

The Egyptian empire lasted over 1000 years. The Roman empire never reached 1000 and the present North Atlantic Empire, which stretches to all corners of the globe, will not exceed 200 years.

7: Every empire considers itself exceptional and worthy of lasting forever.

Greed, blindness and stupidity infest the culture of the rulers with increased intensity as the empire declines. Contempt for outsiders, the weak and the desperate is package in psychopathic indifference to the condition of people in general who are regarded as commodities and viewed as statistics.

8: Empires are highly inefficient organizations.

Human and natural resources are wasted in campaigns of conquest and the need to control resistance. The production of weapons demands materials, energy and labor to kill, maim and destroy. The construction of armies causes floods of blood. The rulers typically embrace a decadent culture displaying extravagant ceremonies and vulgar vanities at enormous and wasteful costs while a large portion of their subjects struggle (many unsuccessfully) to survive.

9: When empires fall they leave devastation in their remains.

The fall of an all-encompassing world empire threatens the existence of Homo sapiens.

10: Emperors rule empires

Regardless of their title or visibility, emperors rule. Their policies do not change by voting for a selection of their administrators.

In summary:

Empires rise and fall… violently & Destructively.

Golden Thoughts

Love – Beauty – Justice – Truth – Mercy
These values are not separate entities.
Together they form the organs of our soul,
vibrating within every human
throughout the community of humanity.

Every Homo sapiens,
whether hunter-gatherer or urbanite,
possesses the ability to love,
owns a sense of beauty,
embraces a pathos for justice,
respects the truth
and has a capacity for mercy.

Love brings us together.
Beauty confirms the health of function.
Justice allows us to navigate the dynamics of community.
Truth anchors us in reality
Mercy defines our humanity.

We cannot neglect one of these values
without neglecting them all,
no more than we can neglect our lungs,
blood, bones or guts
and expect our body to sing with health.

Love – Beauty – Justice – Truth – Mercy
All or none
in vibrant health,
singing the praise of life,
or no memory in the universe
will harbor a spark
of Homo sapiens light.

and possess the proper possessions and speak the proper sounds
I’m not sure of my golden thought, but it seems to be profound.
It whispers of another world where humanity dances a second round.”

Blood Principles

JusticeBird1000308_0072

Principles in my blood, wings on my mind
flying below the glitter to keep from going blind.
Trying to avoid the knives of the many without a dime;
the pack defending darkness claiming to be kind,
and the greasy golden rats diseased with legal crime.
I’m going to join the lovers who view truth a holy sign
and speak naked determination about justice raw this time.

Empire Intellectual

1EyedChurch1090227

Not all the intellectuals in the empire
are empire intellectuals,
only those who are blind in one eye
(don’t see or understand empire)
fixed focus in the other
(believe they represent legitimate exceptionality)
have overworked mouths
(defending the ruling order)
a hole in their heads
(allowing the bats to get in)
a title of privilege
and an ancient attitude.

USA = eUphemisms Serving Authority

Blacklives matter for us.

A eUphemism (eU) is a flowery word to hide a thorny reality.

Superpower or exceptional nation = eU for Empire.
Defense Department is an eU for War and Aggression Department.
Collateral damage eUs for murder of women and children.
Democracy = eU for plutocracy, kleptocracy or kakistocracy.
Leader = eU for ruler.
Lobbying = eU for bribery, and abracadabra corruption disappears.

Prisoners = eU for slaves. Slaves! The United States of America is infested with hard-cut slavery in the form of prison plantations. Tens of thousands of people slave away producing products and performing services for stock holders (= eU for slave drivers) of private (profit harvesting) incarceration corporations.

Journalist or politician = eU for American hypocrite who criticizes other nations for how they treat their citizens.

Information = eU for disinformation, propaganda, academic stupidity or simple bullshit.

We = eU for rulers and subjects.

Stupidity Epidemic

The hotel offered the typical breakfast smorgasbord. The guests were required to put on protective gloves before loading their plates with food.

Protective gloves to protect from an airborne virus to eat from an open smorgasbord! That makes as much sense as wearing a condom on your head to practice safe sex.

The quests, socially distanced from one another, would, I assume, breath while selecting their food. Any virus they might be carrying couldn’t miss landing on the bread, cheese, salami, paprika, crackers, fruits, corn flakes, raisins, nuts or any of the other foodstuffs, not to mention the utensils and napkins. The following guests would, with their glove-coated hands, select some virus-spiced items to be delivered to their mouths on a virus-enhanced fork.

On leaving the dining room, the guests could spray their hands with a disinfectant. No such disinfectant was available for their minds.

The Raw Saint

KatesDoor_152653
“The devil dares not meet her because he’s afraid she’ll convert him.”
That’s what the people said about young Catherine. She spoke mildly from a contagious smile and her words had the power of cool water on a thirsty mind.

The sun shone with gentle warmth holding the breeze to an easy stride. Alexandria, a pearl among the decadent cities of the Roman Empire, seemed proud that Cate walked on its stone-clad streets. It was early in the year 305.

The sounds of the marching soldiers could barely be heard from the square where Catherine was helping to unload vegetables from a cart. Soldiers were a common feature of the city’s landscape, but as these marchers approached, the amplitude and tact of their steps sounded a threatening beat. They had come directly from the boat now rocking lightened in the harbor. They had come from Emperor Galerius.

Hate flowed through the veins of Galerius and the Christians caused the hatred to boil. Despite discrimination, harassment and oppression, not to mention the many martyrs, (those who suffered death rather then abandon their faith), Christian communities had grown in size and influence throughout the Empire. Enough! decided Galerius and initiated what would become known as The Great Persecution. The decision was formalized a little over a year earlier. The Christians would acknowledge obedience to Rome or reap the consequences. “They’ll obey me or feed the lions”, Galerius said.

Someone must have pointed Catherine out. Two of the soldiers grabbed and threw her violently into a cage on a wagon while the other soldiers formed a ring to keep the citizens, the “vulgari”, at bay. A man who took a step forward to protest was unceremoniously cut down.

Catherine was imprisoned. Her influential family could not do anything about it. When she would not disavow her god and acknowledge the emperor, she was tied to a large wagon wheel and tortured. For days. Her limbs were smashed. When it was evident that her spirit couldn’t be broken, she was beheaded. The Great Persecution had made it greatest example.

Six years later Galerius declared the Edict of Toleration. Christians were free to practice their religion. No further suppression, persecution or harassment would occur.

Whoa! What happened here? How could a man who but a year earlier was still spitting hatred suddenly turn tolerant? He didn’t. He was defeated and was trying to save face. The Edict of Toleration was a declaration of surrender. The Christians, the raw Christians, had defeated the Roman Empire. The Christians and their supporters had forced the emperor to back off.

Not only had the Christian communities been growing everywhere, they were surrounded by supporters, sympathizers and admirers. The communities of raw Cristians supplied each others needs, shared responsibility and helped the needy. As the persecutions spread, so did resistance. The Romans couldn’t get supplies. Services were unavailable. Ships couldn’t get loaded or unloaded. Repairs couldn’t be made and materials couldn’t be found. Many soldiers sympathized with the Christians and some even claimed to be Christian themselves. Orders were not obeyed. Garrisons mutinied. The rulers were fighting among themselves and could not count on logistics. Galerius was defeated. The Edict of Toleration formalized the capitulation. What began as an attempt to force the Christians to respect the authority of Rome ended with no one respecting Rome’s authority.

The other emperors or emperor pretenders were leaning toward the Christians for support. Constantine went all in. He moved the capital from Rome to Byzantium which he renamed Constantinople. It was closer to the main concentration of Christians, who he not only tolerated but supported, claimed to be Christian himself and eventually made it the official religion of the empire.

Saint Catherine was betrayed. Constantine not only helped the Christians, he helped himself take command of Christianity. For 300 years the raw Christians had turned their backs on the rulers of the empire and took responsibility to support each other. When they were at their strongest and could defeat the efforts of the empire to command their obedience, they gave their victory to the enemy, the emperor—because he was helping them—and began to subject themselves to royal authority.

The raw Christians were responsible to God alone. God now became something to believe in, but responsibility was delegated to the rulers. Proper Christianity could begin.

After note: The winners/rulers write history. Therefore the struggle and victory of the raw Christians doesn’t appear in history books and Galerius appears to be a saint of tolerance, while Saint Catherine doesn’t appear at all.
