The previous post dealt with Joachim Rönneberg, a war hero. He looks rather fragile compared to Hollywood’s heroes with muscled mass and reflexes fast, but neither Rambo or the latest gym-baked, guru master-trained action-film agent could keep pace with Joachim and his team as they skied over 300 klicks across the breadth of Norway through freezing weather after blowing up Nazi chances of constructing an atomic bomb. The young patriots were agile on skis, used to the cold, knew the mountains and steeled with determination. They were a formidable force. They knew, as is written in granit on the back of the statue commemorating their deeds, that:
Another statue honoring the resistance forces in general shows a man with binoculars looking over his shoulder, apparently unaware that his finger is pointing. Is it pointing? It could also be a signal, as could an open window, the color of flowers in a pot or any other sign the enemy wouldn’t notice.
One word labels this statue, Hundevakta, ”Dog watcher”. The entire population had their eyes on the enemy, as the natives of an occupied country always do, but the Dog Watchers did so in organized fashion, often at risk to themselves, not to mention the hardships they endured.
Resistance to enemy/occupying/ruling forces take many forms. A casually opened button, an innocent earring or a finger placed under the lens of a phone can signal a message that can make a difference between life and death. Organized resistance by people steeled with determination is a formidable force, often an invincible one.
The plastic heroes appearing on our screens entertain us with their super abilities and thrill us with virtual justice. How satisfying to see the bad people get what they deserve. We are purified, released, redeemed … if only in vicarious form. The bad people in reality seem inaccessible and untouchable. Seem.
The plastic heroes provide us with catharsis. We love it. Can’t get enough of it. And like all junkies, we pay the price. We are made to believe that muscle, speed and near super abilities are needed to resist the forces suppressing us, contolling us, threatning us, stealing from us, surveilling us …
We cannot afford that price.
Anyone can offer resistance and make a difference. Anyone, any shape, size, age, condition or ability. Anyone can be a matriot, a defender of mother earth and humanity (= earthlings). Peace and freedom are not to be taken for granted, and cannot be given to you. You have to win it to own it.

Rollon was the Norwegian Viking who was given the territory of Normandy in France in the year 911 to keep the other vikings at bay. A statue of Rollon stands on a little hill about 100 meters from where Joachim Rønneberg grew up. When the Germans occupied Norway, I guess that Joachim thought of the hand on Rollon’s statue which points to the ground as if to say, ”This is my country, *motherfuckers.” A few years later Joachim led a small group of resistance fighters that blew up the containers of a German heavy water plant, one of the most successful acts of sabotage during the war. A statue of Joachim now stands a few hundreds meters from Rollon’s statue.
There are millions of potential freedom fighters throughout the world. Unfortunately, they are unaware that their country is occupied. The occupiers pretend to be the representatives and protectors of the people even though they don’t follow the laws of the land and enrich themselves at the expense of everyone else. They pollute, contaminate, poison and inflame the environment while deteriorating the health and conditions of the population which they hold under extensive surveillance. They even attack and kill ”their own” people in false flag operations to create fear and justify military enterprises.
Beware occupiers (corporate commanders), more and more people are going to stare with steeled determination and say, ”This is my world, *motherfuckers.”

The face is scary, a bogyman politician intimidating us to vote for the disgusting, but less scary, alternative. Voting is important. The facade of democracy must be upheld.
Another prospective shows a profile, the actor who plays the bogyman, looking at a hole where a tiny light reveals a presence behind the scene, the power directing the show and the actors.
It doesn’t matter. We should be able to see that the whole thing is decayed and rotten.

Let me get this straight. If we vote for X things will get terrible. There’ll probably be a nuclear war. If we vote for Y things will get terrible. There’ll probably be a nuclear war. Those are the choices. And you want me to believe that it’s important to vote.
I believe that it’s important to realize that we are already at war. We’ve been at war for quite some time. Some of the battles are even nuclear, like the radiation that continues to pour into the Pacific Ocean from Fukushima and the tons of radiation being spread throughout the Middle East from DU weapons. Our livelihoods, our economy, our values, our laws, our health, our environment, future and existence are all under attack … by the people encouraging us to believe that one of their presidential administrators will make a difference.
Our only hope of defending ourselves depends on our ability to join together with the millions and millions of good people from all nationalities, races and religions and resist the corporate commercial onslaught on humanity. We can bring them down by rejecting their products, information and values wherever possible. It’s war, Dorothy, we are beyond the time of empty gestures and vulgar nothings. People can help, support, strengthen and save people. The rulers, those responsible for the decadent and survival-threatening order must be resisted.

The appeal of the election circus appears irresistible to the propagandized and marginalized citizens. Desperate for crumbs of hope they dance for change and sing the praises of the latest promiser. How does this one differ from the last one? The one who promised and promised and promised and broke every one as soon as the circus was over, and then went on to make things worse than they had ever been while claiming eloquently to feel everyone’s pain. The pain that spreads and goes so deep that the traumatized and fear-infected citizens dance and sing all over again.
Boys and Girls! The giga-rich cabal of emperor-like worshipers of Mammon running the show are not about to let one of their clowns change their greed-obsessed quest for ever more money and power. This clown, like all the rest, is an entertaining diversion sprinkling fresh stardust on the illusion of democracy.
Go on! Vote! Put a stamp of conformity on your own forehead. Prove your obedience to their money-oriented system of society. Show them that they have nothing to worry about from you. You will keep the volume of your whining to a politically correct low level so as not to disturb their rape of the environment, their devastating military adventures or their imprisonment and torture of any possibility to develop a people-oriented community of humanity.

Demonstrations against the Monsanto corporation could be witnessed in cities throughout the world last Saturday. If you are not familiar with Monsanto perhaps it’s enough to know that the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment has solid evidence that Monsanto’s pesticides are killing off the world’s bees.
Monsanto symbolizes evil corporations. All the evil corps have one policy in common: disregard for laws. They’ve discovered that the cost of criminality and buying politicians is highly profitable. They need not concern themselves with laws, rules and regulations. Should they get caught, the price of the fines represents mere funny money. They can droll over their profits while people spit blood and bees die.
Wal-Mart, for example, was recently fined $82 million dollars for dumping huge quantities of poisons into the water supply and the earth at several locations in the USA. (Notice the ”several” locations. It’s not a question of an isolated mistake.) $82 million represents less than one half of one percent of Wal-Mart’s net profits for one year. To put that in perspective, destroying the health and lives of people, animals and the environment cost Wal-Mart the equivalent of what a traffic ticket costs me.
Syngenta, another evil corp, contaminated the drinking water for millions of Americans in over 2000 places. They were ”heavily” fined. (The equivalent of a slap on the hand.)
The list of evil corps that have a ”fuck-the-laws” policy is much longer than the list of corps that don’t. Note that no board member is ever charged with criminal activity or goes to jail. The big corps are too big to fail and their owners too rich to jail. BTW, corps are basically evil organizations as defined by their corporate constitution demanding profit above all other considerations, be it people, the environment or life itself.
I’m principally opposed to the death penalty, but if we could vote on hanging a of couple corporate directors to save thousands of lives and millions of bees, I would reconsider my principle.

Prominent Americans speak of their country as exceptional because they’re not equipped with enough brain power to know the difference between exceptional and extreme. They are in truth and other words exceptionally/extremely stupid. They know enough however to employ many and talented scribes to convince the citizens that the opposite is true. Rulers (even the stupidest ones) have surrounded themselves with people singing their praises throughout the ages.
The money-oriented system of government (not THE government) characterizes almost all societies of the modern global world. Keep this in mind when hearing about the following USA figures. 1.1 billion pounds of pesticides, for example, are poured on US farmlands each year. This is extreme compared to the 5.2 billion pounds used throughout the world, but not exceptional.
How many people are affected and die from these pesticides? I don’t know.
It is known that yearly (in the USA):
5,000 people die of diseases in the food they eat.
8000 veterans commit suicide, mainly because of the cocktail of drugs they are prescribed. I don’t know about the other 33,000 suicides, but we can be rather certain that more than many are induced by prescription drugs.
500 000 people meet death because of their medical treatment. Iatrogenics (ailments caused by medical treatment) rates as the third cause of death after heart diseases and cancer.
Over 1000 people are killed by the police every year. The (police) authorities tell us that most of these killings are justifiable homicide. Believe that, Dorothy, and I’ll tell you a story I heard from a tooth fairy.
Between 150 000 and 400 000 people die of obesity related ailments. The government (surprise, surprise) tends toward the lower figure whereas medical expertise lean to the higher ones.
While getting killed by a terrorist is less likely than being struck by lightning or drowning in the family pool, the people in control (the rulers) spend billions of the citizens’ money to battle terrorism and support the corporations who produce and distribute pesticides, prescription drugs and obesity promoting food and drinks. These people are also responsible for the medical system where iatrogenic aliments kill more people each year than all American soldiers in all wars combined.
Stupid? If stupidity were rain, ark building would be the world’s leading industry.

Junk, Garbage, Shit and Poison
Plastic roams the oceans. Two islands of mostly plastic waste—toothbrushes, condoms, styrofoam, baby bottles, Elvis statues, shopping bags, toys, CD-cases, credit cards, cheese wrappings, whatever—whirl just below the ocean surface in the Pacific Ocean. Each island is about the size of France. There’s one in the Southern Atlantic as well. Several places contain plastic rivers. Here’s one in Indonesia posted by @djoko_kirmanto on pinterest.com.
City streets, parks, highways and forests throughout the world display discarded plastic in many forms. In a flatten view of the world in a time-lapse perspective we could witness plastic waste spreading like mold on a slice of bread. That’s not including all the plastic buried in landfills or the tons that transform into air pollution after being incinerated. Nor does it include the micro particles of plastic residing in all of our bodies and the bodies of all animals.
Plastic is but one element in the mountains of excrement System Humanity shits into the environment daily, everything from from diarrhea-like sludge and sewerage to constipation-like lead-paint coated metal. All of it accompanied by the farts of gases, some hissing and stinking from industrial chimneys, some silent and deadly from human endeavors everywhere. Homo sapiens could more aptly be called Homo contaminatiens. We, the subjects of a money-oriented system of society, pollute the air, contaminate the water, deplete the oceans, exhaust the soil, heat the atmosphere, cause havoc among all forms of life and threaten our own existence. It would be difficult to defend ourselves against accusations of being a filthy species.
But who could make the accusations or offer a defense? The most damaging junk, garbage, shit and poison cannot be detected in the air, water or soil because they occupy our minds. We could not be ravaging nature and torturing the conditions of life were it not for a ravaged, tortured, contaminated and polluted soul. Until we clean it out and start treating each other as humans with common interests oriented toward creating a peaceful, healthy, just and vibrant community for everyone, with an unshakable respect for life and oriented toward building and maintaining a garden of beauty and love of the earth in harmony with nature we will not – rightfully so – survive.

War is a great and complicated enterprise that includes economic, political, military, cultural, ideological, psychological and diplomatic components connected and coordinated with communications and logistics. Soldiers, for instance, must be recruited, trained, clothed, fed, housed, equipped, transported, organized, commanded and paid. Soldiers spend a tiny percentage of their military lives fighting, that is to say, in armed conflict. When war is considered in its entirety, the military aspect, the armed conflict part of the whole, accounts for a minor portion. That minor portion has an enormous and terrible effect, but it can be defeated by eliminating the components. Basic tactics of war involve attacking the components of the enterprise.

A Basic strategy of all wars aims at weakening the enemy and strengthening one’s own forces. Sap the enemy’s strength and build our own.
The rulers of today’s world use corporate power to enhance their wealth and control. We can sap the strength of the rulers by denying them access to our resources wherever possible. Avoid buying their products and services wherever possible. Do not buy their beverages! Drink water! Do not eat in their junk restaurants! Do not shop in their megastores that exploit their workers! Wherever possible refrain from giving the rulers your money by buying their products. Wherever possible.
When the Beatles sang ”All you need is love” they were referring to the fashion industry. Dress however you want in whatever you can get your hands on. All you need is love. It fits anyone and never goes out of fashion. If you can’t manage to love, start with respect and work your way up.
Media products from corporations will harden the arteries of your intellect. Avoid them. Educate each other.
Help each other. Fuck the corporations. Sap their strength. Wherever possible.
