The drama tragedies of ancient Greece dealt exclusively with the rulers of society. Common people could not be the subject of great stories. They were asigned to amuse in the comedies.
Similar priorities hold sway for the dramas of our times. Rulers, portrayed as leaders, dance center stage on screens and pages everywhere.
The so called left, the progressives, the opponents of the rulers, follow, for the most part, the same script.
History is marching to battle. Millions of troops of common people are equipping themselves, informing each other and preparing for the apocalyptic fight. They know what’s going on. They know what it’s all about. As long as we keep staring at center stage, we won’t see them.
Take a look at one of these unseen troops, Matthew Fields Robinson. His Uncle Obama says more than thousands of pundits. Click on a closer look at (US) and United State of Hynosis as well.

Paul Craig Roberts:
The only conclusion that informed analysis supports is that Washington is the greatest threat to life on earth. Washington is a greater threat than global warming. Washington is a greater threat than the exhaustion of mineral energy sources. Washington is a greater threat than the rise in world and US poverty from Washington’s policy to enrich the few at the expense of the many.
The only possible conclusion is that unless Washington collapses from its economic house of cards or is abandoned by its NATO puppet states, Washington will destroy life on earth.
Washington is the greatest evil that the world has ever faced. There is no good in
Washington. Only evil.
Dr. Paul Craig Roberts was US Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Economic Policy and associate editor of the Wall Street Journal. He was columnist for Business Week, Scripps Howard News Service, and Creators Syndicate. He has had many university appointments. His internet columns have attracted a worldwide following. Roberts’ latest books are The Failure of Laissez Faire Capitalism and Economic Dissolution of the West and How America Was Lost.

Netanyahu is not news.
Netanyahu is a diversion from Israeli politics, from the continued genocidal campaign in apartheid form of the Palestinian people.
”The siege on Gaza is tightening and living conditions deteriorate day by day.”
Adnan Abu Amer
We are under a heavy and intensive bombardment of ”news” about Netanyahu, which has nominal to noll significance for people in general and for the Palestinians in particular.
We are not told about the South Africans declaring Israeli apartheid worse than what apartheid had been in South Africa.
We are not included in the battle (against Zionists) to support Southampton University’s right to hold a conference on Israel and international law, and the nearly 900 university signatories from around the world supporting Southhampton U.
We are not informed about the struggle to open a seaport in Gaza.
The growing Boycott, Divestment and Sanction (BDS) campaign against Israel receives drops of news whereas Bibi’s every move and gesture receives storms.
Dito for the campaign for an Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel.
We are, for all practical purposes, told nothing about life in Gaza.
I’ve touch on a few points. Developments to bring the crimes of Israel before the International Criminal Court in The Hague, for example, merits more attention than is given to Bibi on any one day.
You get the point. Netanyahu is not news. He’s a diversion. A glaring example of the mainstream media, which, in itself, is a instrument of diversion from relevant truths and circumstances of our times.
Look away, baby, look away!

”Why can’t the world’s greatest minds solve the mystery of consciousness?”
(Oliver Burkeman, the Guardian – Jan 21, 2015)
I feel like the Wright brothers would have felt if they had heard someone at the aviation college not so very far from their workshop ask, ”Why can’t the world’s leading engineers solve the mystery of flight?”
I’ve solved the mystery of consciousness. It’s language, human language.
It’s that simple, but requires a bit of explanation.
1. Human language is not a signal system employed by animals. A language is to a signal system what a helicopter is to a humming bird, or an elephant’s trunk is to a squirrel’s nose, or a book is to dog’s urine markings, or a diamond ring to a lump of coal, or a computer to an abacus, or …. You get the point.
Despite some of ”the world’s greatest minds” referring to the signal systems of animals as languages, nothing in the animal kingdom comes anywhere near the communicative capacity of human language. Only humans possess a language. Only humans can talk about what they will do tomorrow based on what happened yesterday. Only humans can discuss their sex life, or lack of one, with a friend. Only humans can speak of everything without saying anything … and post it on a blog.
2. Language is a product of thought. Thought generates language and language in turn reflects thoughts, feelings, reality and imagination. Once a thought has produced a linguistic symbol, that (language) symbol can be manipulated mentally, and we can think visually, consciously. We think in any case. Even animals thinks. Without language however we cannot access our thoughts. Thinking produces language, language influences thought. Language awards us membership into the club of thoughts, the territory of the soul, the house of consciousness, the society of the ego and the board of the super-ego. Language is a mental tool with which we can inspect, alter and arrange thoughts that can influence thought.
Thoughts occur with or without language, but without language the door to consciousness remains shut.
3. Consciousness didn’t simply drop into the mind somewhere along the trail of evolution. It evolved together with the evolution of language. We can be rather certain that when Homo sapiens arrived in the world nearly 200,000 years ago the soul of humanity was already stretching to heaven and everyone was conscious of it.

I posted this article 3 days ago. The next day, by coincidence, ICH published a two-month old article by Robert Parry where he said, ”The Boehner-Netanyahu arrangement demonstrates a mutual contempt for this President’s authority to conduct American foreign policy as prescribed by the U.S. Constitution.”
Parry describes a break in the rules of government and a crime against the law of the Constitution as ”contempt”. And, like the rest of the silent chorus of his peers, makes no attempt to question why this was permitted.
Instead of releasing the flood of profanities pounding against the dam of my sensibilities, I reprint the article.

The USA, a Country Without a Government
The government of the USA has become the Bureau of Corporate Affairs. A government, it is not.
When a senator, elected by a single state (Ohio), is allowed to make presidential (national) decisions in opposition to the president, there can be no talk of a functioning government. The president, through the Department of State (DoS), is responsible for international relations, particularly those between heads of state. The chief of the DoS is directly under the president. A senator making foreign relations decisions over the head of the president is like claiming that a pair of tens beats two kings in a poker game. It is formally illegal, and technically treason if the senator’s actions can be shown to ”help a foreign government … seriously injure the USA”, according to Oran’s Dictionary of the Law.
The letter of the 47 senators to Iran also seriously injures the USA and should be considered treason. Having a dual citizenship, as 42 American-Israeli members of the US Congress have, is another idiocy of any government claiming to represent its own people. The idiocy should be multiplied by moronic if the other citizenship is in an apartheid regime. Government is also just a parody if a member of the government is permitted to have private correspondence in an official capacity. Any government where almost every official achieves office by support of private/corporate money is a sham. Governments where bribery is legal (lobbying) differs insignificantly from a brothel.
The charade of government practiced in the USA wouldn’t be possible if the corporate media, aka mass media, mainstream media (msm) or the Ministry of Propaganda, didn’t control communications to the citizens. 99% of the communications in the case of a recent visit and speech, for example, spotlighted Netanyahu while barely a mention of the break in the rules of government crept out of the shadows.
The citizens were told time and again that Netanyahu insulted the president. He didn’t. The senator who invited him insulted the president. No discussion at all dealt with why the president/DoS had permitted this. They had the authority and the power to delete the invitation, reprimand the senator and tell Netanyahu in the politest diplomatic jargon to fuck off. Nor was there a hint in the corporate media that the whole affair demonstrated a lack of government.
It’s time for Americans to formalize their status by declaring a Declaration of Dependence to the Bureau of Corporate Affairs.

The United Nations Declaration of Universal Human Rights:
“The inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world … A world in which human beings shall enjoy freedom of speech and belief and freedom from fear and want has been proclaimed as the highest aspiration of the common people.”
Since this proclamation it has been discovered that the common people are not always profitable. Therefore, certain changes have been made to the original declaration. The changes are denoted with an asterisk (*).
Article 1: All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.
* Except the super rich who are freer and more dignified because they are too big to fail and consequently above the law. These people, aka the 1%, need employ neither reason nor conscience because greed has replaced any compassionate endowments with which they were born.
Article 2: Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind
* except where these rights and freedoms stand in the way of corporate profits.
Article 3: Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person
* as long as they do not threaten the worship of money.
Article 4: No one shall be held in slavery or servitude
* except for people held in private prisons or those that can be used as commodities.
Article 5: No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment
* unless the degrading treatment or punishment is called enhanced interrogation.
Article 6: Everyone has the right to recognition everywhere as a person before the law
* unless labeled enemy combatant or any other arbitrarily selected term.
Article 7: All are equal before the law and are entitled without any discrimination to equal protection of the law
* if they can afford it.
Article 8: Everyone has the right to an effective remedy by the competent national tribunals for acts violating the fundamental rights granted him by the constitution or by law.
* This article does not apply where competent national tribunals are unavailable.
Article 9: No one shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest, detention or exile
* unless the rulers want to do it anyway.

By their own declarations Americans, particularly the upper layers, consider themselves exceptional. And they are. In many ways. Although all people own exceptional attributes and qualities, the Yankee brand is obese with racism, the type that includes prejudice, xenophobia, chauvinism and bigotry in general, and manifests itself in a conviction of superiority, übermensch, history’s chosen rulers …
This is in no way exceptional for an empire. On the contrary, it’s typical. The upper layers of all empires, without exception, have worn the robe of superiority as though it were their birthright.
This atmosphere of exceptional superiority contaminates the population at large and allows the rulers to disregard laws, propagate lies and commit crimes with immunity. Superior good-guys are basically good-guys no matter what they do.
I will cite a single university professor to illustrate how this exceptional racism can infect a mind. Speaking against the use of drones because it creates enemies, the professor says,
“when a drone sows death and injury among these (tribal) people, their response is to seek retribution and a remedy for dishonor. For people living on the margins of the modern world, honor and revenge are anything but atavistic (ancient) throwbacks to a previous era.”
He implies that these ”tribal” people ”living on the margins of the modern world” react differently than other people; that their reaction is from a previous era.
Unbelievable! World class stupidity. What would be the response of sophisticated urbanites if a foreign force flew into their country, killed a few family and friends and flew away? Everyone but an exceptionally arrogant superior person can answer that question. They’d burn with desire to get hold of any representative of the foreign force, and, in the words of Marsellus from Pulp Fiction, get medieval on their ass.
For every hour of every day more and more people in the world are seeking ways to get medieval with the representatives of the exceptional American empire.
