The refugees flooding Europe are fleeing the terror and destruction of American wars and bombing campaigns as well as support for friends and ”terrorists” who bomb and destroy. The Europeans have themselves to blame. They have taken part in and permitted illegal invasions, occupations and drone-killings of toddlers, teens and tailors in sovereign countries.
The people were forced to bail out rich banksters who screwed up and now they must take care of tide of human desperation caused by the same rich people in their quest to maintain and increase their control. Of course the victims of US aggression must be helped and cared for. BUT how much can be done if the flood of refugees cannot be stopped?
US aggression has caused massive destruction, millions of deaths and many millions of refugees. Yankees go home and let the people settle their own differences. You have not helped anyone anywhere. Conflicts continue to spread while problems and hate grow whereever you go.
By the way, just what have you done and what are you doing in Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria?

From an article by Gary Leupp in Counterpunch, Sept. 15, 2015:
“Bush destroyed Iraq’s infrastructure, its institutions, its ruling party and its army. Then he destroyed its social fabric, which had permitted widespread Sunni-Shiite intermarriage and religiously integrated neighborhoods.”
How did Bush destroy “Iraq’s infrastructure, its institutions, its ruling party and its army”? With bombs, bullets and violence. Read the first sentence of Gary’s quotation again and try to imagine piles of torn and dead bodies between each letter.
The second sentence unmasks the nature of the beast. They destroyed widespread “Sunni-Shiite intermarriage and religiously integrated neighborhoods.”
Sunni-Shiite intermarriage = love.
Religiously integrated = love fertile
How did they destroy love? Love can’t be shot or bombed. Not directly. A couple of agents plant a bomb among the Sis and blame it on the Ses. A retaliatory action against the Ses by (agents) Sis gets the ball of violence rolling. The conflict and deaths can now grow by itself quickly wiping out love like a plague. Replacing weddings with armed conflict is called “destroying social fabric.”
What sort of beast kills love and promotes hate so that people fight among themselves instead of uniting to resist conquest? The beast has many names. Call it what you like, but remain focused on Killer of love – Promotor of hate.
Stay focused!

And now, ladies and gentlemen, from the people who gave us “unlawful combatants” comes the new and improved “unprivileged belligerents.”
Unprivileged!?
What are the privileges? Who are the privileged?
It’s a euphemism, Dorothy, a nice-sounding name to hide a nasty reality. Their “privileges” mean laws, rights and rules. The unprivileged, like the unlawful, cannot appeal to these privileges or to justice. Justice doesn’t belong to their privileges.
Belligerents!?
The American Heritage Dictionary defines belligerent:
“One that is hostile or aggressive, especially one that is engaged in war.”
Note the “or” in “hostile or aggressive”! Note that it is not an “and”. This means that anyone suspected of being hostile is “Against us!” and cannot count on any of the privileges of rights and rules offered to ordinary privileged people.
A journalist can become the victim of unprivileged belligerency for saying or writing something that can be interpreted as hostile to the American government. Truth has been known to support hostilities. Why shouldn’t it? It is always the first victim of aggression and consequently often among the first things all the resistance combatants have in common.
This rather lengthy explanation could be summerized:
Foreign resistance fighters were designated “unlawful combatants.”
The battle has come home. Homeland citizens can now find themselves victims of “unprivileged belligerency” for minor crimes of criticism as well as major crimes of truth telling.
The battle has come home.

The System Humanity blog states under its name:
Photography & philosophy
Most readers forget the photography part while passing by to get to the philosophy. That’s what we do these days. We constantly rush through a storm of communication, all of it claiming to be information. Don’t believe it. Communication itself is a neutral carrier of content. Who is supplying the content? Could it be the people who own the means of communication? The content—the message sent by communication—can contain information as well as disinformation. The difference is vital.
Information removes uncertainty, disinformation does not. It’s that easy.
– Where are you going?
– Out.
That was communication without information. ”Out” was obvious and removed no uncertainty.
– Where are you going?
– I’m going to study with a friend.
This smells like disinformation. It adds more uncertainty than it removes.
– Where are you going?
– I’m going to Adam Jason on the next street. You know the Jasons. We’re going to study anatomy. I’ll be home before 10.
That was a thick parcel of information. Who, where, what, and when.
Information removes uncertainty, disinformation does not.
Are the majority of the people certain or uncertain about their jobs and their living conditions?
Are they certain or uncertain about climate change and environmental fever?
How certain are they about the military and the wars that only seem to spread?
How do they feel about a congress bought by corporate lobbying, the legalized brand of corruption practiced in a land of freedom?
Are they not to be uncertain of politicians who say one thing and do another?
How certain are they of their medicine and medical treatment?
Authority drench us in communication messages from newspapers, magazines and books; radio, TV, film, music, the net and ads everywhere. Let us not forget the ads.
Has all this, or any of this, removed any uncertainty? Have we become more knowledgeable and less confused? Less fearful for the future?
But I repeat myself. I’ve said all of this in the picture.
So take warning!

We hear a lot about the 1%. We are told that they are in control of the USA. It’s not true.
There are over 300 000 000 Americans. 1% would put 3 million people in control.
It’s not very likely that so many cooks are stirring the imperial stew. If we take half of 1% of 1% of the 1%ers we get down to about 250 billionaires. Still a lot of people to be holding the strings to the great puppet show, but it’s probably doable. The top 10 richest people alone can stuff $600 000 000 000 into their collective piggy bank.
$600 billion! That’s the equivalent of $1 bills stacked 60 000 km high! You couldn’t climb to heaven on that tower of bucks, but you could certainly feel godlike. And, if you were so inclined, you could feed the world’s hungry and house all the homeless with a couple of percent of your vast fortune and still manage to scrape by on the billions you had left.
If you were so inclined. Unfortunately, people with that much money have one and only one inclination. They are locked into increasing their wealth. That’s the way money works. You and I would act in the same way if we were inflicted with that much wealth. Follow the money and witness how the billionaires are increasing their fortunes with billions yearly while billions of people grow poorer and poorer, nature grows sicker and sicker—its environmental fever growing hotter and hotter—while the future grows dimmer and dimmer.
Instead of investing a little percent of their wealth in people, the 1% of 1% of the 1%ers can afford 1000s of millions of dollars to inform everyone that this is the way things should be and not to worry because the 3 million 1%ers working for them will take care of us and solve all of our problems. With so many ”informative” dollars it’s not surprising that so many people believe the myths despite reality claiming the opposite.

We seem to have three main players in the present War of Survival; the aggressors, the clueless and the clowns.
The aggressors are the commanders of corporate enterprises also known as the 1%. From behind the scenes of public scrutiny they drive developments toward enriching and empowering themselves despite their already mind-boggling wealth and power. Their obsessive quest for ever more profits devastates everything in their path, be it people or nature. Like any parasite, they will eventually destroy themselves when they’ve sucked the life out of the system they are dependent upon.
The clueless are the people in general who are unaware of the course of events. Drugged on the disinformation pouring down from the heights of power (the corporate controlled media and the institutions of culture and authority), they are even unaware that the War of Survival is raging.
The clowns are the privileged intellectuals and progressives who criticize the symptoms of the war and believe themselves to be opposing the aggressors by demonstrating against their policies and appealing to them to do things differently. They are as effective in resisting the aggressors as a bandage on the stomach of a cancer patient.
”China needs another generation to master the difficult juggling act of capitalism. But Chinese, who are by nature brilliant businessmen, will learn.”
This quote is from an article about China’s economy (Beijing Bingo in ICH, Aug 30, 2015) by Eric S. Margolis whose words radiate out from the pages of the New York Times, the International Herald Tribune, the Los Angeles Times, Times of London and other heavy publications. Note that he speaks of the Chinese as ”by nature brilliant businessmen”. ”By nature” implies a genetic aptitude for business. Either Mr. Margolis has some inside information about biology and the genetic code of humans or, despite his intellectual merit list, he’s stupid. Not ignorant. Stupid! Stupid like in assuming one can ”master the difficult juggling act of capitalism”. Whatever that might be.
Although Eric is more clueless than clown, his words illustrate the low level of high intellectuals. The real clowns are those who rally the citizens to demonstrations and try to engage them in the circus of election politics to influence who will be part of the administration of the aggressors. The basic strategy of war aims at weakening the opponent while strengthening one’s own forces. The people who are buying UNNECESSARY corporate products such as sugared cereals and sodas as well as eating at fast-food chains are aiding the aggressors. Any intellectual, progressive or trench blogger who fails to point out the War of Survival is either clueless or a clown. Judging by the progress of the war, there seems to be quite a lot of both.

Americans, progressives in particular, love the AIPAC lobby myth. This myth claims that Israel controls American foreign policy through its AIPAC lobby. Israel bears the blame for USA’s miserable and regrettable actions overseas. The red-white-and-blue good guys are forced to do horrible things because they are pressured by AIPAC’s power and money.
The myth appeared again—for the umpteenth time—a few days ago in Information Clearing House (Aug. 25, 2016) and was picked up and promoted by Paul Craig Roberts. Under the title ”AIPAC And The Treaty (with Iran); An Illustration Of The Demise of Democracy”, Joe Clifford writes,
”Any political expert would confirm, the strongest lobbying group in the nation, is by far AIPAC, a group that represents the right wing interests of Israel.”
This obviously false statement is presented as a truism; ”any political expert” … ”strongest lobbying group” … ”by far”. It’s ridiculous! AIPAC isn’t even in the major leagues of the lobbyists. The following quote is from my fourth post on the lobby myth,
The Tale of the Tail (AIPAC myth 4)
Can little Israel determine the policy of the USA? Can a tail wag the dog? Of course not. The so called “powerful” AIPAC spends about $24 million a year lobbying. Compare this to Boeing $90 million, Northrop Grumman $88 million or Lockheed Martin $79 million. These three weapons corporations are merely three players (albeit major) in the military lobbying conglomerate. General Electric, for example, weighs in with its $134 million lobbying budget. Many more corporations swim in the military pool, but this should be enough to put the AIPAC influence in perspective. Would anyone, unless thinking like the opening beneath a dog’s tail, suppose that AIPAC/Israel has more influence on the US government than the USA military and the corporations equipping it? We might also remind ourselves that most of the $3 billion that Israel receives in “aid” every year goes to the US weapons industry.
Clifford’s claim that AIPAC ”represents the right wing interests of Israel” illustrates the shallowness of his political expertise. Israel has been a vicious colonial conquistador enterprise since day one. Talking about its ”right wing” is like talking about the vegetarian wing of the wolves.
(See: Count Bernadotte Street 1, Gaza)
The heart (or should I say ass) of Clifford’s propaganda piece advances the theory that AIPAC prevents Congress from ”doing what is best for the US public and for the world.”
Please tell us, Joe, when did Congress/USA do ”what is best for the US public and for the world”? Was it AIPAC that caused the USA to kill three million Vietnamese to save them from Vietnam; that toppled the democratic government of Chile; that killed and terrorized the Nicaraguans; that … (long list of countries violated by Uncle Sam)? How about torture, Gitmo and the American prison population? AIPAC? Is AIPAC preventing Congress from demanding a livable minimum wage for the people of the US? Are they behind militarizing the police and killing unarmed minorities? What about all the much larger than AIPAC lobby groups? Big Pharma, t.ex. is probably the main cause of the epidemic of veteran suicides, not to mention elevating medical treatment to the third most common cause of death for Americans.
How did AIPAC get the US to establish over 700 military bases throughout the world? Speaking of military bases, Israel is for all practical purposes USA’s foremost military outpost while posing as an third-party independent entity taking the heat off America’s military. Those who propagate the AIPAC lobby myth are—whether conscious of it or not—acting as fifth column agents against the ”US public” that Joe Clifford pretends to be so concerned about.

If you are not for impoverishing workers and empowering banksters, you are against us.

If you are not for Israeli apartheid and Palestinian genocide, you are against us.
If you are not for lies, injustice and decadence, you are against us.
If you are…
Oh why do I bother? Get involved in the election circus and declare that you are for them. That might prevent them from killing, torturing, impoverishing, imprisoning or enslaving you while they destroy the planet sustaining us all.
